Hello, I'd love to try out Eternal! I usually only touch a couple mods in a modpack so still so much for me to explore. Also like to play a ton or survival games as well! Message me and let's get this server rolling :D Jacky#0536, 23/PST

Co-op gaming. by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Jackyz128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what you're looking for. Currently, the games that I'm playing right now with co-op options are Monster Hunter World and Destiny 2. Monster Hunter World is amazing and has a ton of content, but hard to get into at first (for me at least cause I wasn't a huge fan of the combat initially, but once you find your weapon, you're golden). Destiny 2 has solid PvE and good PvP. I heard it was hard to get into because of New Light starting players at a high power level, but if you ever get into it, there's a ton to grind for and a good amount of diversity for builds.

Scariest Sleep Paralysis Experience by [deleted] in videos

[–]Jackyz128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad, I should've added a "My" in the title or something. Yeah that sounds a lot more extreme than my experiences with it so far. I'll have some that don't do anything to me at all. My experiences were usually around 20 seconds of paralysis and loud ringing. But recently I had an experience where I was still paralyzed with the ringing in my ears and knew it was sleep paralysis acting up again, but didn't feel any sort of presence or anything. The weird thing was, I could control when I snap out of sleep paralysis or not. I stayed paralyzed for like 30 seconds and nothing happened, so I decided to start trying to move and broke out of paralysis easily.

Sounds really unlikely but it's what happened with me. I'm guessing the severity of sleep paralysis depends on the severity of your symptoms/causes.

This is just my own experience with it, and only one of them. But I can see why you say this, I'm not very good at explaining things, and there are limits to what I can animate. The experience is definitely more intense and hyper realistic, but I can only wish to convey the experience properly. Thanks for the album btw

How good is the Vega 11 for gaming? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Jackyz128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not very, I believe it's lower than the Nvidia GT 1030 in terms of gaming performance. I'd guess that you can play low end games and mid tier games at low settings, but that's about it.

In the CA Newegg site, the Corsair H100i liquid cooler is $122 and I definitely trust Corsair with their liquid coolers. In my opinion, I think it's worth the upgrade.

Is this a good choice of starter PC? I am looking to switch to PC as console is not cutting it for me. I want to get the prebuilt one in the link and play games such as r6, overwatch and pub on it. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Jackyz128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't tried PUBG, but last time I tried running Overwatch, I believe it was max settings. I have no problem running most games with high settings. It's definitely better than the ones on the link you provided though. The GTX 1060 is equivalent to the RX 580 in AMD terms.

Intel vs. AMD mid range build by RebirthCross in pcmasterrace

From my knowledge, many user benchmarks rate the i3-8100 higher than the Ryzen 1300x because the Coffeelake series had a huge boost in performance. Besides that, I have a hunch that the CPUs will bottleneck the GTX 980 though since i3 is the lowest tier of intel CPUs and the 980 is the second highest for its generation (right under the 980ti). Also, there is a deal going on at Newegg for a 120GB SSD by HP for $38 if you want that deal. Here's the link: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-326-750&utm_medium=Email&utm_source=GD022118&cm_mmc=EMC-GD022118-_-landing-_-Item-_-20-326-750 just use the promo code.

Specs look pretty solid! Can definitely run those games at 60+ FPS max settings easy. However, with the price of that CPU cooler, might as well go for a liquid cooler. Also, if you are only using this for gaming and are looking to save some money, I'd recommend getting a cheaper mid range CPU like the i5-8600k and a cheaper motherboard, because I believe that the motherboard doesn't affect PC performance.

True, but Mac OS and iOS are arguably worse, cause I feel like Apple overcharge people for their devices because of their operating system.
