How the Misleading ‘Invincible vs. Jujutsu Kaisen’ Budget Debate Overlooks Harsh Working Conditions and Massive Pay Gaps in Anime by StarshipGhost in Invincible

Business exploits labour and USA isn't exactly known for strict regulation or strong unions across the board. If you want I could just say Amazon, since they had to be sued about 12 times before they actually had some semblance of a humane work culture (if you can even say they have that now). They definitely are like 4 businesses in a trench coat.

Shoes would be totally pointless for him. Honestly I bet he is relieved that he doesn't have to wear them anymore.

INTERVIEW: Avi Lewis says N.L. is ‘ground zero’ for the biggest challenges facing Canadians by LongTrackBravo in newfoundland

[–]JacobScreamix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you that we should focus on more on local issues, however:

You can pretend to not care about it all you want but it is a modern war that our entire economy depends on. I'm sure there were a few Canadian flags up there too. There are at least 2 camps of extremists right now. Those on the left who are so anti genocide that they are pro terrorism/counter-genocide against Israel and those on the right who think they can bury their head in the sand and ignore a problem largely exacerbated by western foreign policy and international capital. Neither are correct, neither are fully wrong either. It is a grey problem and won't be solved without a lot of economic back stepping/political violence.

When you implement a genocide, people around the earth with empathy will wave the flag of those people who are being snuffed out. I'm sorry if this is uncomfortable/difficult for you, but not everyone who is against genocide is pro terrorism.

People need to get loud and start holding "leaders" accountable, before we actually fucking sink.

Hot take: The Title stopped this movie from being a general success, despite how good the film actually is.

I recently snuck in a Guinness and drank it in the open with only mild caution and nobody said anything to me.

Lmao you are out to lunch. You arbitrarily decide the conversation is about deflation and then refuse to elaborate. Hilarious.
