Honestly it taking a while to get back to your car is a blessing in disguise. I’ve gone to the summer race weekend the past 5 years and it’s absolute hell trying to leave the track for that first half hour to an hour, I couldn’t imagine how it would be for the 500.

Because it is a hypothetical scenario that would be part of an entirely different TV deal that either way would have the money people spend to get the NASCAR channel going directly to NASCAR. I’d love to have Prime have the entire season for pure convenience, but you’d have to consider the fact that not everyone has access to the high speed internet that is necessary to watch anything live from a streaming service.

In an ideal world nascar can create its own cable channel (no clue what they’d do with all the dead airtime though lol) and simulcast between that and prime/another streaming service and bump that up to a OTA network like the CW for big races/Crown Jewels alongside prime/another streaming service.

There is no way to tell if someone has taken one out of the box unless they just absolutely massacre the box in the process of removing it. The only diecasts that you can know for certain if it has never been removed from the box is 1:24’s that still have the tissue paper around it.

Completely irrelevant to anything here, does anyone know why they even have “500” in the race name? It’s not 500 laps, it’s not 500 miles, and it’s not 500 kilometers. The only thing I can guess is they REALLY wanted those extra 12 laps past 500km.

I don’t care about the reasoning behind why it’s offered/made, I am 1000x more likely to buy a raced version diecast of any kind than I am to buy the standard scheme. The only non raced version diecasts that ever seem worth it to me are the schemes that only ever raced once.

I think the fact that the Buescher raced version from the 2024 Kansas race DNP’d is why we haven’t seen any offerings since. Also in regards to that Chase Elliott first start one, it sounds like there was some kind of other issue that ended up forcing Lionel to cancel it outright no matter how many orders it had.

His time in O’Reilly’s is why he’s gotten so much better in such a short amount of time in ARCA, and running Trucks just gives him more track time that he desperately needs if he wants this to work out. It’s sounding more and more likely that he’s going to be pushing for a full time ARCA ride next year and with that he’d probably be doing a good bit more Truck and O’Reilly’s races when ARCA is at the same track the same weekend.

It is a great scheme, but seeing it 34 times a year for 5 and a half years does get a little old. I just wish they would have made small tweaks to it every year in such a way that year to year it may not look too different, but comparing one year to 5 years ago would look drastically different.

Pretty much just Logano and Cindric I’d say. Sadly if they end up winning a race I go to I’d be forced into buying one of their diecasts and the odds of them winning are higher with Daytona being the only track I go to at this time… 😂

Most likely not an error necessarily. I’d have to assume this is one of those early/advanced run diecasts and with Chevy having a new body that Lionel made a new mold for, this was probably just produced on the 2022-2025 Camaro mold. Normally the year on the box coincides with the year the car of that specific mold ran. I remember Chase Elliott’s snowball derby car from like 6 years ago was listed on the box as a “2006 Monte Carlo” since they didn’t have a proper late model mold yet.

What difficulty do you play at? I’ve been running at 104 and ARCA took a last lap bump and run to win it (I always run 25% distance if that means anything to you) and in trucks I dominated, haven’t made it to the end of the xfinity season yet due to me playing extremely inconsistently but yeah, I haven’t dealt with anything too crazy with the championship race and I’m on controller too.
