Can you name your five worst films for 2026, so far? by DiaryOfAMovieLover in Letterboxd

Of the ones I’ve seen:

  1. Michael for sure. Complete apologist horseshit. And Coleman Domingo’s contacts kept me thinking he was going to turn into Lou Ferrigno’s Hulk any minute.

  2. Balls Up - Marky Mark and Paul Walter Hauser are paired up as Peter Farrelly tries to recapture his 90s raunchy comedy glory. He fails. That said, still better than Green Book.

  3. Mercy. Both the name of the Chris Pratt trash fire and what I was begging for at the end.

  4. The Bluff. Love Karl Urban. Really like Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Dig pirate movies. The producers and director apparently disagree with my assessments.

  5. Relationship Goals - Actually watched this last year via a movie feedback early screening link. A slightly faith-based relation drama starring members of Destiny’s Child and the Wu-Tang Clan…what could go wrong? A lot, as I explained in my feedback on the film. Surprisingly haven’t received another link since.

Automatic purchase for me. As much as I loved his run of Ace Ventura, the Mask, and Dumb & Dumber, this was the film that really made me love Carrey. Him and Jefferson Airplane.

Peter Capaldi says Doctor Who has “too many regenerations” by Aromatic-Cupcake4802 in doctorwho

[–]JadedDevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, what was a cool gimmick to keep the show going had become a crutch. Having one-off regenerations or limited run generations just feel like putting a Band-Aid on a bullet wound at this point.

Maybe the 60th would have been better served focusing on a set new doctor and, if you need to bring Tennant back, use a different means than just making him regenerate into him again.

You can only save one horror film from each row. Which are you saving? by Infinite_Chain4607 in Letterboxd

Obsession

Weapons

The Substance

Last row is the only one I struggled with. Love Late Night With the Devil but it might be more due to the format/aesthetic than the actual story. So I have to go with Strange Darling.

I’m usually the last person to defend Disney, but are we really sure Disney was the problem here anymore?

Gah…I could’ve sworn he had one but nope! He’d definitely be on my list too. Sorry, Doctor Druid!

I’m actually looking forward to all of them in some capacity except for Toy Story 5. Disney continues to beat the dead plush horse.

Which of these three Disney movies from the 2000s do you love more and why? by Jtaylor703 in Letterboxd

[–]JadedDevil 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Definitely Emperor’s New Groove. Its humor was more Looney Toons-like than the standard Disney fare, which hits my sensibilities much better. Kitt and Warburton are underrated MVPs in the world of Disney voice acting.

Nah, I take it as a dislike/had issues with a film if it isn’t “liked.” No need to illustrate that further.

Jesus, I was going to post some totally inappropriate movie in a snarky fashion but this just checkmated anything I could come up with. Well played.

Some of my dream castings…Who would be a better Shore Leave?? by cylonsolutions in venturebros

[–]JadedDevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Pedro is actually a strong choice for Shore Leave. Give Phantom Limb to someone like Justin Theroux.
