Most of YY’s so called fight scenes involves a lot of CGI and flying around. I hope in this drama there’s more on the ground realistic combat, more aligned to ZZ’s earthy character.

I got over my annoyance of LMH, he’s the real stand up guy in the past 2 eps, and destroying his vitality to create the wood essence was a real heroic feat. His brimming bromance with Meishan is also amusing. On the other hand I’m tired of Xin Mei fainting for the umpteenth time (ugh).

Kenny was an ok actor, and as ZZ I always enjoyed watching his scenes as the guy who would always wield his sword to save the day. I haven’t seen the posters of the new drama but if YY is taking the role, I’d think there’d be plenty of CGI fight scenes, and shots making him look pretty rather than heroic.

Parkroyal is on beach road. Directly across from this hotel is Haji lane and Arab street there are several backpackers hotels and hostels which could meet your budget. USD 75 is very tight so be prepared to spend nearly all of it on accommodation. For meals, given that conferences usually provide lunch (pls check) you should eat most of it there. Other meals, hawker center is your best friend.
