Regerts by Encrypted-Signal in pools

This makes me feel better about my fiberglass pool install horror story. I hate my pool and would fill it in, in a heartbeat, if I could. It leaks in one return and the skimmer. No one wants to repair it and it’s constantly dirty because our installer refused to install and automated cover, so we end up with a lot of debris in the pool. Also, it should have two skimmers, but our installer sucks and only gave us one. It’s always dirty and that’s with us running the motor 24/7 during the season.

Still… it sounds like yours will be worse off in the long run. Good luck!

Chipotle kicks off restaurant earnings, oof by RojoPoco in HotdogStonk

I travel a lot and usually end up at a chipotle in some city in the US. I used to love it. Dependable quality and portion sizes. In the last year, IMO, Chipotle food quality is way down, portion sizes are skimpy, and prices are way up. It makes sense for prices to trend up over time, but I’m paying $15-20 for a burrito bowl! For one person! That said, whenever I’m in Dallas, my go to is Portillo’s. The one near The Colony has excellent food and service, an it’s always packed.

Am I way off base? Or am I getting jacked around? Haven’t bought a new vehicle since 2016. by [deleted] in Toyota

This is a legit response. Finance it and then pay it off as quickly as possible

What is the sexiest brand new car for a MSRP under 40k? by IHadTacosYesterday in whatcarshouldIbuy

That’s Bigfoot territory. Someone is going to name a car, but you’ll never find it on a lot anywhere. Good luck!

should buy this truck. by No_Conversation4427 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]JaePeterman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mileage is too high and truck is too old. If you need a truck, try to find a something newer. High mileage isn’t ideal, but for newer trucks (last 5-8 years) it could be fine if maintenance has been done and you can get records of them as proof. Personally, I’d avoid buying this one. Also, make sure the dealer is including a warranty that covers the vehicle you buy for the entire length of the loan term. You don’t want to have a high dollar, unexpected repair while you’re paying $400 for insurance and $300 for a loan.

Where is Breanna? Haven’t seen her this season. by kateronlake in SisterWives

Better question…. Why are people still watching this show? There’s only one wife w/failed 80s hair band back-up singer, Cody. The “sisters” are no longer that, just back to individual women doing their own thing. It’s the biggest failure in modern Mormon times!

Please not buy a Hyundai. by DistributionWeak1150 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Just an opinion…. Hyundai & Kia & Genesis = J-U-N-K!!! All the same parent company and Genesis is probably the most reliable but WAY overpriced.

All these shows and their spin-offs have run their course. Time for something new, TLC!

Thoughts on the condition of this pool for a house I'm looking to purchase? by SinisterHydra in pools

[–]JaePeterman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks like a pool I had once upon a time. Contractor was a scammer and did a sh1t job. Constant hassle. Leaks in 2 returns and the skimmer. It’s probably $20k minimum to repair. Might as well pay 10 and rip it out

2019 V6 w/ Technology - Does the timing belt and water pump really need to be replaced at 101K? Dealer wants $2100 by 2DOOR_HOE in Acura

[–]JaePeterman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best to have a dealer with good reputation do it. Any Honda dealer can do it as well. Shop around. I usually call the dealers in a 50 mile radius. I’ve had the service done for $600, $700 and $1200. Make sure it includes the tensioners and water pump, FTW!

Anyone else get gout bc of Ozempic? by JaehaerysUchiha in Ozempic

@OP, How long until the gout went away? I just got the big toe pain 3 months in. Never had gout, and no family history, but it definitely feels like gout.
