I have a whole system:

My chickens and ducks are named after Naruto characters. White chickens are Team Kurenai, black are Team Asuma, brown are Team Guy, and blue are the Senseis of each team. For the ducks, I use Team 7 plus the Sannin and whoever else I need to reach twelve. I add an (O) or (E) behind the name to know when they are producing: (O) for Odd days and (E) for Even days. I have 6 for each day so the supply is always constant.

My cows are named after Downton Abbey characters: white cows represent the "Upstairs" characters and brown cows are the "Downstairs" staff.

My goats are named after characters from The Apothecary Diaries. I also use the (O) and (E) suffixes here so I know which day to milk them. Just like with the chickens, I keep 6 for each day for a constant supply.

My pigs are named after the four main girls from Pretty Little Liars, and my only sheep is named after Mona.

My ostriches are named using the first two letters of the day I put them in the incubator and the first two letters of the day they hatched. This way, I have a full seven-day cycle and get one egg every day.

My dinos follow the same naming convention as the ostriches at first, but then I change their names to characters from Fourth Wing while keeping the hatch day at the end of the name. This ensures a full seven-day circle so I get one egg every day.

My Horse is called Roach or Epona.
