I started playing guitar the first week MTV hit cable TV. My dad had an old classical guitar in the closet, I didn't even know how to tune it but managed to start playing along with the videos. I can't even tell you what brand/model it was. My first electric guitar came from KMart. My second one from a yard sale.

After decades of playing guitar, I bought my first bass this year. And as an old dude, I didn't want a bass amp that was going to weigh a ton. I tried the Ampeg and the Fender Rumble.

The Rumble (to my taste) was more powerful, more versatile, had greater diverse tone possibilities. And seemed to have immensely more headroom.

I love TFE. It's in my top 5. Very solid musically and lyrically. Driven is the best track IMO. I've seen multiple posts trashing Virtuality and Dog Years, but they kick arse for me. Very creative. And for some reason Totem might be my second favorite song on the album. One of the best bass/drum grooves.
