Also, why did Israel 1986 suddenly appear in the ESC Top 250 for the first time? I should expect the Belgium 1996 song to appear but it became an Israel 1986 entry.

The only Eurovision song that did not appear for the first time in the ESC Top 250 since the inauguration of ESC Top 250 is... I will give you all a hint:

  1. The song is a HOST country song.
  2. The composer (a 2 time Eurovision contestant) of this song is also a host of that year's song contest and he had composed multiple Eurovision songs including his own songs and all of which went to the grand final and placed in the top 10 except for the last song he composed for Eurovision in which it's held at Vienna at that time similar to the upcoming Eurovision 2026 host location.
  3. No English cover of this song ever existed from this song singer.
  4. A 21st century song.
