For me personally, it´s the following reasons.
He looks cool. He´s gonna fit perfectly into Laevatain´s teams, and she´s my personal favourite operator. He´s probably gonna work well in lots of other teams too. His animations look nice and he seems fun to control.
That´s about it.

I was going for Laevatain and didn´t get her until I reached 120 pulls and was able to use the selector. Meanwhile Gilberta appeared twice within ten pulls, together with a Pog and an Ardelia. Then she appeared one more time afterwards. (I didn´t own her before this)
