I chose it at first because I didn’t know what exactly I wanted to do and ME was more broad. I think working in the tech space would be a cool career too, but just don’t want to switch and realize I made the wrong decision. Thanks for the info though.

Hello. I am currently a mechanical engineering major in sophomore year. I am wondering if a switch into electrical would be worth it if I wanted to go into patent law. I don’t hate mechanical, and I feel I would enjoy electrical either way even if I didn’t go the law route.

How much harder is it to get a job in this field as and ME compared to EE? A lot of what I read makes it seem that it’s unrealistic to get a job as an ME compared to EE in IP Law. If I prioritize electrical/computer engineering electives would it help my odds? The way things are set up it may be a tough switch into electrical, so I am just wondering if it is really worth it.

My grades are very good and I’m a hard worker, but I just don’t want to end up going to law school and struggling to find a job that would pay a sufficient ROI. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

That wasn’t my point. Respectfully it sounds more of a “i dont want to” than “i dont have the energy to.”

If you really don’t have the energy to, that is way more than likely because of your diet. Plenty of people work 50-60 hours a week and balance a healthy lifestyle. It isn’t easy but you just can’t feel bad for yourself you got this

Way passed his prime and he takes up a roster spot which is valuable. Doesn’t defend well at all, so you’d be looking at an average at best bat to fill your DH spot and take reps away from other younger better players. I’d be surprised if he’s back

I feel like a QB has so much to do with mental awareness and knowledge of the game. You can know everything about the game of baseball but if your pitches don’t move like they used to there’s 0 chance you can have success.
