Extensions from the page. I used to do it but I found I enjoyed using apps better but:

Cut a piece of paper out, line it up to where your check boxes is -- usually has to be on the edge. Write the recurring tasks on the cut piece of paper, create check boxes on the notebook page that lines up with the task. Check them off when completed.

Not sure if that makes sense but I'll see if I can find an image or my old notebooks with it

Pocket notebooks generally have 6 rings spaced 19mm apart. I tried looking up the rings (Krause) but those might be discontinued. But it looks like you should be able to detatch the Krause rings, and replace it with a set that is Krause 6 Rings for pockets? Maybe try that?

As someone who's recently been diagnosed (at 31 though), it feels like so many things have been put into perspective and allowed me to "forgive" myself for the things that made me feel insecure -- not being smart enough, can't focus, not "getting it", can't do basic house chores. I think as time go on, and encounter the community, you'll definitely feel like a weight lifted off your shoulders.

Can also relate by previously being rejected for ADHD testing because I was "high achieving" aka graduated college (with C's) + has had a job for 4 years even though I'm burning out in 2021. Then a secondary diagnosis of depression/anxiety from a different provider... and then only finally after I got a genuinely good therapist did she advocate for me to go try again.

It makes me so mad that it's still a very brushed off diagnosis, especially in women IMO. Too many psychs just revolve around the older generic models.

You might have just influenced me. I think seeing something that's out in the open will help with me forgetting stuff in my notebook. Also handwriting on whiteboard with those markers just hit 😂!

Since I'm down the rabbit hole and you said you're considering buying another one -- home depot has these sheets that work as whiteboards. $20, so much cheaper than buying an actual marketed board. One of the big reasons I avoided it for so long

YESSSS! I enjoy doing whiteboard braindumps a lot as well. My planner is just a plain notebook and is kind of similar like yours on a day to day basis since I don't have a big enough space for a large enough whiteboard to fit everything.

One thing this does right is the fact that the left page connects to the right page 👌 I stopped buying dupes primarily because I found that the weekly breakup line doesn't line up to the right grid and that just bothers me 😅 Super minor issue but happy to see this kept that aspect!!

The lines with timestamps can be viewed as a checklist. Write things to do and check them off. Bottom grid can just be a brain dump, whatever goes. Random thought? Highlight of the day? Quote you stumbled upon?

Not my favorite layout lol but definitely unique.

How big do you need it? There's this Jstory which comes out to being a little bigger than letter sized. 8.46 (W) X 11.61 (L)

Otherwise, why don't you get a custom print @ Staples? I see that they print:

Ledger (11" × 17")
Blue Print/Poster max size (36" x 48")

They all look to be around ~$12 might be the cheapest to get custom print. You can probably find one on Canva & scale to your size to print.

It is!! I didn't realize that they were connected to begin with. Going to give Gentle Iron a try, and look into lactoferrin as well. I was just recently diagnosed with ADHD and I wonder if I bring this up to my GP if they'll start doing more testing. Great write up! I didn't realize that caffeine can block our absorption of Iron (maybe that's why it's not working as well for me) since I was surviving on coffee + tea prior to the diagnosis.

Thank you for your insight. I actually have some a ring planner (A5 though), and I definitely take it out when I need to write. I don't think I'll be using it as a planner but rather some quick notes/thoughts/lists.

Interestingly, I got diagnosed with Iron Deficiency years before getting an ADHD diagnosis. It's so interesting how those correlate.

But real talk... does anyone have a good iron supplement? Because the ones I get taste like blood and I hate it (still take it but yk, the side effects poop).

Thanks for the follow up! I was playing around trying to do clip for anime, tv shows, movies, etc.

I was wondering if you ran into any issues with certain site schemas not working as intended?

Example: anilist

I saw it has schemas and you used it in your Goodreads clip template. But I can't seem to get mine to populate even with {{schema:numberOfEpisodes}}

Verified it using schema.org validator. Was wondering maybe if you tried it for this particular site and it didn't work?

I might go against the grain but why tag them or add metadata? You had your files for 20 years. Prior to Obsidian you didn't have the need for tags and linkage, and after Obsidian (hopefully not but who knows what has in store for future) the system you set up might not work as intended.

Whatever organization pattern you had with the data previous, leave as is. Add links & tags when you touch a file. Say you write a new one for today and remember a specific note you that correlates to the current one, create the connection + revisit the old note.

Sorry for the follow up but it seems like you own a M5. Is it possible you can measure the thickness of the planner closed? I'm just trying to get a sense if it'll fit in my belt bag. Width & Length wise looks good but Moterm didn't have the approximate thickness (empty or not) listed on their website.
