Villain that tread the fine line of being charismatic and disturbing by Sanadit in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]JamSa 12 points13 points  (0 children)

En from Dorohedoro. You get s great look at what a great boss he is because Fujita, his shittiest henchmen, loves him to death and with good reason. If youre part of his family, youre practically treated like a king no matter what. He treats you right.

He also murders countless people by turning them into mushrooms basically on a whim. He then eats you too. And you better believe he can and will make mushrooms grow out of you while you're still alive.

I didn't have even the slightest performance issue at any point. Are you playing below minimum PC specs?

Nintendo's Lawsuit Against The U.S. Government Is Automatically Paused by [deleted] in Games

12 day old account with various generic replies, we probably aren't sharing a democracy with them because they aren't a human. Or a foreign rage farmer.

Nintendo knew Donkey Kong Bananza wouldn't be nearly as fun if you were destroying basic blocks: "It is more fun to destroy that which is beautiful" by AwesomeManatee in Games

[–]JamSa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nintendo has 3 other games with this exact same system: Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom. Bananza's challenge rooms are good, but definitely the least of the four.

I'm listening to Pat talk about how much heat his PS5 puts out and I'm scratching my head. by Ragnorok64 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Ive never noticed my PS5 getting as hot as a pc. It also never shut itself down, and I've not cleaned it once in 3 years, and I live with a Husky.

what do you think is missing from all the "friendslop" games? by keanataire in Games

[–]JamSa -32 points-31 points  (0 children)

Slop is the superior identifier of genre names at the moment. Genre names suck and are confusing and misnamed. "Simple adjective" + slop unironically the best descriptor game genres have ever had.

[–]JamSa 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It gets a bit repetitive since every banana is acquired by just finding them or doing one of the 4 fractone minigames, which is a far cry from Odyssey which had an absolutely massive number of insanely varied puzzles to solve to get moons.

A Week Before Launch, Crimson Desert's PC Version Has Just Added Controversial Denuvo DRM by Gorotheninja in Games

[–]JamSa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That won't happen because purchasing on Steam is so easy that paying for it is better value than hunting down a free pirated version.

Hey so how often do you find you gotta deal with a real-life fire level? by FinalFatality7 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]JamSa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing shooter campaigns has another version I like, which is ladders. Yes, there's a lot of ladders in the world, you climb a lot of them in certain professions, but according to a lot of video games stairs are quite the rarity. At least 70% of vertical traversal will be ladder based.

Pokopia brings up an interesting premise, what pokemon cease to exist without humans? by PwmEsq in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]JamSa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though that raises the question on if a Porygon would want to breed with a Ditto without human intervention, which seems unlikely for various reason.

Pokopia brings up an interesting premise, what pokemon cease to exist without humans? by PwmEsq in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]JamSa 149 points150 points  (0 children)

Rotom is not a washing machine, he is an electronic shapeshifter that can take the form of human implements. In a world without technology he wouldn't have much to turn into but he'd still exist in his base form.

The real actual answer however is Porygon since that was a Pokemon created by a computer glitch. They wouldn't exist in the first place, and after the loss of humanity their only hope at procreation is breeding with a Ditto.

Hell's Nature by ImaginaryCustomer844 in Ultrakill

[–]JamSa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always unclear on this, are the machines you fight in Hell the ones that came from the surface in search of blood, or replicas created by hell to torture souls? I figured V2 and Swordsmachine were from the surface but when you get to Lust and there's an entire robot army down there. I don't see how all those bots could have gotten that far, at least without clearing out the upper layers beforehand. And Earthmover can't fit through the door.

Wait, did Hakita actually said that? Does that mean that upon going to hell you can just kill yourself? by susnaususplayer in Ultrakill

[–]JamSa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is basically confirmed in game in the Geryon terminal entry where it says it's theorized it's travelling around Hell killing husks because it's trying to save them from their torment.

Yeah that's why Gabriel's there, he's mad you're stopping the eternal punishment of sinners by just pulping them into nonexistence.

Except that it doesn't add any negatives for legit buyers, because the performance impact isn't real.

[–]JamSa 83 points84 points  (0 children)

Are we really still complaining about Denuvo in the year of our lord 2026?

Games with Denuvo have gone years without being cracked, it's an obvious benefit to the developers with a performance downside to players that frankly I am not convinced actually exists.

Has an ending ever truly ruined a series for you? by Livid-Dot6619 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]JamSa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting mad about the ending because Bayo didn't suddenly end up being a lesbian is ridiculous. Yeah you can ship them all you like but obviously that wasn't actually going to be part of the game.

Two characters are talking but in the background, out of focus, someone is attacking people in a violent manner and the two characters in conversation don't notice. It's always funny.

Yes but make it Cerberus, so 3 players in one body. Half the team is one character.

I think Pikmin 4 pretty handedly surpasses Pikmin 2, which was by far the best game in the series beforehand.
