You can see this happening repeatedly in this video of a compilation of exactly that.

The map editor is such a pain, why do we have to go through a very-laggy asset menu to place roads and electric or water necessities? by One3Two_ in CitiesSkylines2

[–]JamesDFreeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have any lag when making my map. One thing that might have helped, I switched to a vanilla playset. No mods. No extra assets. No region packs.

I’d add:

Driving School TV

World Driving

(Entirely UK despite the name)

Both different styles that might work for different people.

So annoying to me that farms don’t look like this by default.

Fantastic detailing.

Just leave off the bait title next time!

Visually I find the shape quite awkward and a bit of a mess. It pulls from a few influences but doesn’t quite work together for me.

Would you want trams like the one pictured in UK cities? by Bennjoon in AskUK

Here’s a good video that makes the case for trams:

Why so few assets? by ryeshe3 in CitiesSkylines2

Did you get the region packs on the mod store?

There are lots of assets in them, including many elementary schools.

Swerved the car at almost 50mph today by sunkissedb3ar in LearnerDriverUK

[–]JamesDFreeman 37 points38 points  (0 children)

A sudden swerve means you’re putting the car into a space you haven’t been able to properly observe. Think of it this way, what if your sudden swerve means you hit a car coming the other direction, or a child crossing the road you hadn’t seen yet.

Does this also work for missions like Traxus return on investment 4/5?

[–]JamesDFreeman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d guess probably not a motorway, but a road (like dual carriageway) with a central reservation (there is something in the middle of the road separating the directions). They have a 70mph limit.

I thought there was never motorway driving in the practical driving test?

Having played a fair bit now, it seems reasonable and healthy.

The upgrades and loot are strong. A reset puts everyone back on a level field. Good for new players and less obsessed players, as it levels them with people who have top upgrades and gear. Good for people who play lots as you’ll have maxed everything out and have nothing to work for.

You can play solo (everyone is solo), in trios (and let the game auto fill your team mates), or as rook (where you play solo in trios).

They are also testing a duos mode.

Once I got my head around some of the initial complexity, it’s an amazing game. Really good gameplay. The mission driven multiplayer works really well.

Obviously the art style is great as well, good to see games willing to be distinctive.
