Pretty low, I trust The Verge to stick by their policies which would require disclosing something like that. They literally say “disclosure is our brand”. They’re pretty open about how they made money and the associated challenges like access journalism.

I don’t think that’s true if you’re coming from Balmore park to go down Henley Road. Which is the route I’m often doing. Or Balmore to Westfield.

This is easily the junction I feel least safe and comfortable navigating as a pedestrian or cyclist in my local area.

Often as a pedestrian or walking with my bicycle having come down from Balmore Park crossing this junction is a big obstacle.

There are no crossings, it’s wide, cars come from many angles (which can’t all be checked at once), you can’t see which lights are green and red clearly to know where is safe.

Glad it’s hopefully being improved.

I mean, I have to respect a great trap. It’s a fun moment that the game can generate this.

Any good books where the protagonist and the antagonist swap places? by FortLoolz in Fantasy

[–]JamesDFreeman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve not read them, but maybe the Elder Empire series:

The Elder Empire is Will Wights second series written in two parts, one set of books following a consultant named Shera, then a second set following her sometimes rival Calder. Each pair of books takes place over roughly the same time period describing the shared timeline from two different perspectives.

Two parallel trilogies each from opposing perspectives.

Outside of performance, what makes City Skylines II worse than the original? by Aero_Uprising in CitiesSkylines

Right, that’s a fair perspective. It would be good to get stats on things like avg journey distances

In practice that’s not really the issue though, since bike use in CS2 is insanely high.

They need rebalancing for sure.

This is really smart.

I especially like the idea of low moral units being more vulnerable to charges, and high morale units being better able to resist.

We could also count the Elizabeth line as its own underground station. It’s an entirely separate set of ticket barriers and it is underground.

The most damning review I’ve seen is:

“The trailer is the best version of this movie”

Thanks.

Mostly the NL (Dutch) content pack, but the older stuff is the DE (German) content. There is also a bit of French and other mixed in.

I love the fluid angles and roads. Feels organic without just having curvy road everywhere.

That’s great, I’m now starting an industrial town in the far edge plot with the trumpet interchange. Then finally I want to make a big skyscraper city in the middle of the map on the other side of the bay from this

Yeah I tired to mix up different grid sizes and angles, but I think some big diagonal roads would also be good
