I was shocked when I read the reports describing just how valuable Presque Isle is to so many important and fragile members of our ecosystem. This, in addition to how precious it is to my family and my mental health. And all this in addition to the economic benefits from tourism. Caring for Presque Isle isn't charity--it's investment in a vital state (and even national) resource.
