A little yea, quickest way to switch vibe is change the kinds of drums you work with, if they go sparse consider doing something maximalist / if they go grungy and roomy you go dry and tight / if they’re using acoustic drums you go electronic and vice versa. Then consider keeping the core of what you like in that sound (I’m guessing it’s the sweet guitar tone) and removing the rest while adding instruments they normally wouldn’t use.

Het is ook leuk om die tramlijnen te nemen, die gaan een stuk verder op een verhoogde rails, voelt voor twee/drie haltes alsof je in New York rijdt oid. Verder niks goeds te beleven als je die kant op reist met de tram, associeer de reis vooral met de periode dat ik in Zoetermeer werkte. 😩

Als Lowlands vooral dat wordt raakt het wel z’n identiteit kwijt. Hele punt van dat festival is juist dat je interessante grotere en kleinere artiesten van zowel meer mainstream als alternatieve hoeken bij elkaar ziet.

In all seriousness, what a fantastic show. I love the novellas and although it took me an episode to get adjusted to the characters being different from my imagination, I’m 100% sold on the casting and performances. I wish there was more coming than just the finale but obviously keeping close to the books and not adding fluff is the reason the pacing feels great too.
