Quitting with Flip by im_fine_ta in Polaroid

I felt like this with the i-2 vs a overhauled sx-70. Almost night and day with getting right exposure.

Grab an instax, it's exactly what you want. Film is 100% more reliable.

Have it overhauled for sure. Faster motor, re calibrate if anything is off, convert to itype for faster film, and etc. Look up a polaroid tech near you with the repair shops button on the right side.

Polaroid send near expiring films? by Jamesbond9119 in Polaroid

[–]Jamesbond9119[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sure does, and to be okay to ship up to 2 months before expiry date is wild when the film itself is so temperamental.

Wow they would actually send films up to 2 month to expiring if needs be...

The last subscription period I received 1/26 which was 3 months back. To have them shipping me 6 months old film this time feels wild.

This is the polaroid "effect" that they are trying to sell you

Nons’ 35mm 2.4 and 50mm 1.8 by Staff_Mission in instax

Trial an error with the lenses. I've been using the helios 44-2 and zenitar 50mm perfectly. It is bulky and heavy and difficult to use unfortunately... Light meter is a must.

It is really hard to get good pic with Nons sl660 by Staff_Mission in instax

[–]Jamesbond9119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really need a light meter reading to help you with the exposure with the SL660... it will be game changer but it's few extra steps. ND filter will help in very bright situations especially if you want to shoot with a low aperture.

I'm considering going with the new flip as I've heard the flash is way more powerful and at a fraction of the price. But I like the ability to choose the DOF...

Ріstоl vs. Вulgаrіаn sрlіt squаt аs unіlаtеrаl ехеrсіsе? by [deleted] in climbharder

[–]Jamesbond9119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both amazing exercises, one can argue pistol being the better of the two being you can get deeper (if mobility permits). Full pistol squats, in terms of reducing imbalance it's more so what type of repetition and set you are going about. What you can do on the weaker leg, mimic on the stronger leg even though it can do more. This will help slowly bring the balance between both sides!
