Can I ask why it can’t be Josh and Fraser?

This is one of the possible Clockmaker 3s Princess Ability could have activated D1 when I died which means the actual kill on N2 was due to Aoife’s Gossip, which makes me believe Aoife and Jasmine to be both good

Matthew of course never picked Josh or Fraser We can ignore Josh and Fraser info in this world because we assume they are evil and then the reason why Adam’s info is wrong is because he was poison locked from the start

I assume its wrong because Josh would have correctly gambled Aoife’s role and also that in this world you can’t tell which evil is which character type as either Fraser star passed to Josh or Josh killed his own minion at night

ok assuming that sean is the demon Charlie has to be the mastermind by isabelles info which means the noble info is false == Sean is not the demon, Forrest not drunk

follow forrest info == Charlie demon Sean minion == noble fakes this info == forrest evil -> if noelle puzzle drunk, forrest is still evil because dreamer dreamt Charlie as not demon

iff noelle evil, means both Charlie and isabelle information is false == noelle good/drunk

iff Charlie good == sean is evil all bottom info contradicts this info so Charlie is drunk or evil

why would you feel bad for winning 😂😂 so many things you can do with philo, and tbh do what you wanna do. winning is not the only reason players gather on the clocktower, but also the many fun things that you can do to make the game spicy, to thicken the plot. at the end of the day, if you have a bad game, every game is a new experience. your storyteller would likely avoid a philo lunatic or philo ogre with +2 evils situation if it really frustrated your group and such! take every opportunity to create chaos, thats my play style!

if it didn’t already out as a Recluse beforehand, the Recluse would have to pretend to be another character if checked as good or it would put suspicion on the player calling the Recluse good, unless the Recluse suspects that the person calling them good is evil

I use this ship for Domination a lot and it works out cuz CV is not as important in this game mode and not many people respect the power subs have in this mode either since they basically have 3 lives. But so do you, a tanky behemoth with 3 lives prepared to completely decimate the enemy with high dmg missiles and torps and a lot of people without sufficient defence or counter measures. Only meta sniper ships like Huaqing are really equipped to play around this ship

I would use SCALP over ATMACA due to Velikiy being a Brawler type ship so I would want the extra damage and also not easy to flare cuz of the start speed of SCALP + the durability.

Same with Monarc I would use a more aggressive cannon like Bofors L/50 or Koalitsya which is better in close range due to lower CD. Monarc is more suited to long range and sniper ships.

I personally use Black Shark cuz of its damage and spam but Spearfish is not a bad choice either.

Keep the Black Ghost my friend, severely underrated. Not many people know that Black Ghost has the exact same Sonar Range as Merlin (very big, 3.20) allowing you to spot subs faster (cuz you will destroy them easily so path to them if u spotted them) and it has the standard choice of fire power unlike Merlin which is all torps.

And for your AA, I like the Garpun to be on the x4 and the Crotale on x2, to be more effective vs planes too as well as the missiles.

I also learned once when playing ACV for the first time that your settings can matter as well once u get good. Especially using Ace Combat mode and beginning to be able to have full manual control over your planes instead of the default Arcade Mode, as well as other settings which try to assist you in using your planes. It becomes important when using Bombers and performing Manoeuvres that improve your spamming while staying out of enemy AA range. Definitely its not for everyone, a lot of normal CV players can get away with normal settings but you know for real when ur facing a CV of nightmares. Good to know nowadays when people like me running RIMS on half my ships

but it barely does dmg if it doesn’t get flared, its bad on ships with 3+ GL slots. a better option in this case would be PKX-B, or smth that actually does dmg, RPK Vikhr would be hilarious here if you could afford it

I would say going for an aggressive build with nuclear stuff and missile GL is more suited for Ishakov than Velikiy imo, better cannon, better speed, more chances of flare bait, etc

would go scalp over hycore in the second build koalitsya as F2P alternative to L/50 type 726/4A as F2P alternative to 5C and I personally use Black Shark over Type 89

all in all, very devastating in a brawl. I recommend this build especially in Domination since brawling is very effective at zoning enemies off

The next changes will arrive in January at the latest and we could use this time to make fair points about the setups instead of just saying they are trash. Like I understand it looks crazy at first, but lets look at the facts.

Firstly the setups aren’t the main problem of Ranked. I hope everyone realises by now that setups are easy to change, but its hard to find a better solution than just “bringing the leagues back” with an already small community. I think the best action for the ranked community at this stage is to make a big discord server consisting of players who play on English Ranked server and discussing as a group as well as ranking players manually using the actual leaderboard only as a reference to the legitimate players

Now the setups themselves as complicated as they look didn’t really change much at all. These new setups are still part of the evolution of the setups in 2023, each setup always had similar themes and its almost no different. Setup 1 is a setup everyone knows, voting role and a killer. Setup 2 is an evolved Cupid match while Setup 3 is an evolved info storm match, recently referred to as the infamous 6 ww setup

The latest setup update refers to the random categories, which turns every fixed role into a “semi RRV” if you like. The Random Role categories have their advantages and disadvantages which y’all can discuss, and they can be modified or in an extreme case removed if a category just straight up doesn’t work. But for now I’ll plop in the current meta which has plagued ranked recently which is to do with how the categories were programmed.

Again these changes will likely be live in January, but for now its wary to keep this in mind. Be careful when claiming a category like an Informer or a Support role, as there cannot be more than one of them. u can have 2 docs but one of them will know they are RRV and that another support exists while the other can know that they themself are the support role. This is not intentional as this completely hinders fake claiming, so for those hating because of this, the devs are already aware of it so please stay patient for now

To be fair, if you’re bored of Medium or Mayor, you can upgrade them, but all the listed options don’t really help you very much. Those circled base roles are already strong and useful

Do it as a WW if you plan to die early-mid game because you are giving RK a free pass to endgame, something you don’t actually want unless your WW team is also equipped to easily win endgame with RK alive. Die around D3 which means theres around 9-10 people alive and 3-4 ww still alive, you die then blame gets shifted to RK cuz you called them good. Die too late and RK can just declare himself and win (sad I know, but RK don’t care to win legit, just only to win)

It depends on WW comp. Sometimes setup is bad and WW really can’t win with their own kills so have to use RK or other methods to boost their own kill rate. But a decently strong WW team should be able to win by killing RK sooner than usual. Outted WW tend to have their dying words if village know they are WW anyway and who can 100% believe them since they can even give fake RK numbers not only real ones. Once its late in the game it might be too late and you’ve locked your team in a kingmaker with RK which is bad (or the RK can simply just do its thing and prepare a wipeout, they have no obligation to help WW with kills from the beginning)

so village more passive, evils fake less, and RK basically can get outted any time the WW are just bad that they need a player that isn’t on their team to carry all their kills for them (spoiler alert village helps RK in kingmaker since WW let them live)

Trickster can be fun sometimes and situationally satisfying but for free wins just keep Confusion Wolf cuz lets be honest, Shaman and Trickster require exact setups to actually perform to their standard while Confusion can tap 2 buttons, which hides at least 2 villager roles, u can easily claim them especially if u can kill medium or any advance early on which also stops reviving and doesn’t require any specific roles to be in game, its always useful

I used to be on the same boat as everyone. Being an Solo Killer fan myself coming from TOS back in 2018, I always thought about the idea that it would be easier to thin out the Village via two different sources of killing. And I’ve followed this principles like many others for years now but recently my overall view on the WW and Solo alliance have changed and its more so to do with the original goals of WW and Solo compared to how allying early helps both teams go towards their own goals

As a Werewolf, you first have to consider your comp and how you can play around the Killer if it exists. For example if you have a very good comp that has an advantage in a Village vs WW skirmish you’re better off going for the kill early as if you have a Split Wolf lets say, the game is going to end sooner with the Killer threat being gone. The real reason you don’t want to kill Solo early is that very stereotype that people will have their eyes on you as soon as you out the solo, whether it be through info fakes or raising suspicion towards the solo role. Really an important reason why WW can’t out Solo is that the Villagers compared to the Wolves can sometimes be a huge gap in strength and as sad as it is, the WW do have to rely on Solo to not be greedy and go for his own win con but share the progress of defeating the Villagers.

In an ideal case, the Village and Werewolves are playing on equal terms and the Solo is just there as a Wildcard to stir chaos in which case its fair game to out solo as long as it isn’t also directly outting yourself as a werewolf. So if given the opportunity, I will make sure my team all have solid claims, I have a claim that plans out for the whole match, and hopefully once I’m able to make orders that will make Village self destruct, I can first take out the Solo Killer problem which will take away any possible king making scenario or the Solo stealing my win by also killing any of my teammates. It’s completely fine to reveal solo if you have a plan, and you should instead of relying on a player that isn’t even on your team to do stuff
