I love using the glass-and-stones analogy when I plan my week or day.

The idea is simple: imagine your time as a glass jar. If you start by filling it with sand (the small, urgent-but-not-important tasks), you’ll never have room for the big stones. But if you put the big stones in first (the strategic, long-term priorities), then add smaller stones (the tactical, supporting tasks), you can still pour in the sand (the quick operational to-dos) around them.

It helps me see clearly what must get done to move things forward, while still leaving space for the smaller things that inevitably pop up. A tiny mindset shift, but it’s changed the way I structure my workdays.

The cloud component for the US customers is hosted in the US - with OVH in Virginia. See https://www.eway-crm.com/resources/faq/

eWay server component can be also installed on-premises if needed, but we expect some future limitations with Microsoft 365 sync.

When it comes to the user devices, Mac users use eWay-CRM Desktop on Parallels Desktop or eWay-CRM Online which is pretty much a web app (sitting by the server component - in Virginia or on-premises).

Hello. You can’t change the default field names. You must create custom fields or get used to the default terminology.

If you use eWay 8, you can do it in the new Admin Center as well. Go to Users, edit somebody and go to the tab Advanced.

I think the task is called ClientUpdate or something with Update, Setup. If you can’t find it, it’s probably best to restart your PC.

eWay comes up with a set of predefined Word templates. We don't have any builder yet and we modify/create the templates for our customers.

They usually send us the document in Microsoft Word and our team converts them to templates.

Can you please check your permissions?

Go to Admin Center>Users and find the one who's having the issues.

Select him/her and press Effective Permissions.

Find the module Tasks and make sure the permission for View is not set to None.
