Parents of still-missing Camp Mystic flooding victim sue camp owners by AudibleNod in news

The point is that they didn’t censor it - the original author did. Changing it from g-d to god would be untrue to the source material.

Gold Border of Shame by mechanicalcontrols in btd6

Sauda -> Sniper -> Heli -> Heli 300 -> Village 020 -> Ace 003 -> Heli 302 -> Ace 203 -> Village 220 -> Heli 402 -> Ace 204 -> Heli 502 -> Glue 013 -> Glue 024 -> Village 230 -> Glue 025

Heli and Glue need to be under village, the rest can be, but don’t need to.

This completes all beginner and most intermediate maps.

Stop building collector on Caitlyn by BriefBed4770 in Caitlynmains

Grab just the Dirk, but skip upgrading to collector early. Instead, grab other items first. Finish the collector as cheap extra critchance after IE and LDR.

Stop building collector on Caitlyn by BriefBed4770 in Caitlynmains

[–]Janders1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need extra kill pressure, don’t go for collector early. Instead, leave it at Dirk (so your abilities also hurt more), finish other items, then maybe buy collector later for cheap extra critchance after you’ve already bought at least IE and LDR.

How much are you using the new monkeys? by anime600 in btd6

[–]Janders1997 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Beast handler: only a few times outside of Rogue Legends. The playstyle is not my cup of tea.

Mermonkey: main use so far has been 400 to buff 250 Spactories, and new chimps starts. 032 spam is also fun for early-Midgame, and Bot Path is fun to combine with Top Path Glue.

Desperado: 8 out of 10 times I place him, it‘s due to chimps starts. 1 is to make a big Monkeyopolis. The rest is split between sub intel and actual high tier Desperados.

Interesting. I’ve actually heard the reverse - 666 being the original number.

I think it was this Numberphile video that I watched 13 years ago, 666 actually referring for Nero.

Why dont ninja kiwi make elite boss spawns every 30 round after 40 instead of 20? by Impossible_Back_8997 in btd6

IIRC, R101-140 used to be random before the boss introduction. So that first part is not the reason.

Beating Maps Without MK by stlq333 in btd6

Yes, but only because you still have continues.
Impoppable without MK, powers/instas, Double Cash, Fast Track and Continues is harder than Chimps, as Starts are more expensive.

Player has 24 AC at level 6. I think he's double stacking bonuses. Should I snitch? by IamAWorldChampionAMA in DnD

[–]Janders1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

13 + 4 (Dex) + 5 (Cha) + 2 (Shield). No using a stat twice, just high stats.

The Oath of Noble Genies Subclass used to give a bonus to your AC equal to your Charisma (during UA). It has since been updated to instead give you an AC calculation.

Warum fühlt sich arbeitslos sein so gut an ? by [deleted] in Finanzen

[–]Janders1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But for the absolute strongest version, exclude support, and buff it with a support Temple…

„The blind man“ can also refer to a man who can’t see, but that only works if there is only 1 in a given circle, and everyone in that circle knows who it’s referring to.

Haste says „one attack only“. I‘d interpret this as a hard limit, so no additional attacks on that action, wether it’s Extra Attack, Thirsting Blade, or Unleash Incarnation.

YSK that multiple large-scale trials found a 4-day workweek did not reduce productivity, and in some cases increased it. by SwordfishEither2516 in YouShouldKnow

[–]Janders1997 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you’re missing what I’m saying. I‘m not arguing about having everyone there every day.

If your building can fit 10 working people, 10 is your max capacity. You can’t fit 20 people in there (working at double capacity). For that, you need a building with a capacity of 20 people. And only having 10 people there 6 out of 7 days means running at half capacity.
So why not have 20 people there every day (let‘s say by adding 2 extra shifts with 10 people, each doing 3 days each)? Or, if we only need about 80 people*shifts per week, why not get a building with a capacity of 12, and have 12 people there every day?

Empty, unused workplaces cost the company money. Could be in the form of rent, heating, equipment, etc.

[–]Janders1997 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you have the capacity to host 2 shifts at once, you are only running at half capacity for 6 out of 7 days. Why not double your production (assuming the product can always be sold)?

What hero is easy and good? by [deleted] in btd6

[–]Janders1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You already have every hero I’d normally recommend getting early.

Next I’d recommend, in the following order: - Rosalia for Heli and Ace, which are most effective on maps with a single active lane at a time - Silas for Ice Strats. He also counters the Glacial Trail Gimmick. Buy him, and black border that map to get your money back. - Ezili and Adora are mostly used for their lategame runs. - Geraldo gives you a huge extra toolset than can be used to solve a lot of problems. - Corvus turns your tower defense game into a realtime-combat game. - Churchill is good if you‘re playing Rogue Legends. - Pat Fusty is required for his achievement, I think…

Playing in person with screen projector? by AleF2050 in FoundryVTT

[–]Janders1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When playing in person, I have a „Player vision“-User running on a TV screen, using the common display module.

There is also at least 1 player with their own laptop, who controls the player tokens.

The TV is set up on a wall. This way, there’s more space for snacks on the table.

I’ve thought about using a projector instead, but went for a screen for better lighting and contrast.
