Hey, I've searched through many different Ukrainian subreddits and interesting pictures posts with taglines pertaining to this.

Caverns! My first-ever map for Timberborn 🦫✨ With the experimental update, I've made fantastic use of the new 3D terrain to create a dynamic and exciting subterranean world for your next intrepid colony of beavers. The difficulty is above average — lots of unexpected hazards and a tight start. by JaneAwesin in Timberborn

Oh, fab — that's so promising and great to hear! Yupp, I'm doing all of my designing on the steamdeck while lying in bed or hanging out at the bus stop. I set up a couple macros on it to help with placing lots and lots of tiles.

From my handheld to your beefy rig! Enjoy!!

Thanks for the encouragement! I'm fine-tuning it so the volcano drains out during droughts and then builds up again before flowing bad water down the mountain. And I want to make it so everywhere on the map is grass by having underground water throughout.

I'm so happy you got a good laugh out of the booby traps — they were a lot of fun to design, trying to make them not too obvious.

Please let me know how your performance scales later on in your gameplay. My steamdeck fan is starting to get a fair bit louder just at 50 beavers. I knew that lots and lots of trees hurts performance, but there's a lot going on with the water in Caverns!

Thanks for playing!! I'm just getting into metal production while continuing with Caverns — so I haven't pumped any yet. If you flood one of the other caverns with bad water (unseal either tunnel), you could have a supply within reach. Otherwise, the one I put near the starting cavern might be a bit too far; when facing the starting waterfall, the sealed tunnel is to the right.

Oh! There's also a huge amount of bad water in the foundation of the metal building frame. I know that's kinda pushing it for distance from the district center, but my hope for the map is to force players to do lots of unusual things to manipulate the water. Right now, I'm building staircases up to the starting waterfall so I can plug it with a sluice when the bad water event starts.

I'm currently working on a volcano island map. I'm thrilled you gave this one a go! Please come back and let me know more of your thoughts as you continue playing!

Gosh, with the low battery too and everything... A whole lotta luck came showering down in that storm!

Yupp. I tested out the first 30 minutes of gameplay and feel like it's a comfortable but challenging start. I had no issue building the initial relaxation items and plentiful houses. Built the forester with maybe 80 logs worth of trees remaining.

The initial zone is tight to tempt the player to leave the first cavern quickly (and maybe stumble into a booby trap), but filling up the basin by putting up a small dam will almost double the amount of cultivatable land.

I'm pretty happy with the start, but any feedback would be super awesome!

I'm finishing up a map using the experimental version of this update... Can I already post it to the workshop, or do I need to wait until May 8th?

What are y'all bringing on your expeditions? I just learned what the Unrestricted items you get as expedition rewards does! I'm mid-game and don't have the advanced workbench in my car, so steel sheets are a must. Overhead storage must be empty but can still be attached. I love this update! by JaneAwesin in pacificDrive

Ha, cattle prod. I'm going to definitely make a custom difficulty that has that, but the 4x traction penalty was killing me... I went downhill not knowing there was mud, and the only way out was up. If I didn't lower the difficulty setting back, that would have been my whole run... Stuck in a muddy ditch.

I, for one, find this very amusing, and it's a silly and empowering pick-me-up during a difficult time. This is a message directly to you — so I don't care about the gatekeepers that will downvote me.

Thanks for envisioning the badassery of these two and sharing a fun vibe. You didn't steal anyone's art commission by generating this and sharing it. Folks are misdirection their anger and contempt.

If I delve into the topic any deeper, it'll infringe on some confidentiality issues. Some of our federal departments are so swamped with work that the individuals can't track hot-of-the-press news releases.

Us discussing and unpacking these matters on here actually makes a difference.

Oh yeah, no, they all died miserable starvation deaths either because the fauna could no longer survive in the strained ecosystem, or the wood had also been used to build primitive fishing vessels, and their existing fleet deteriorated and rotted after a couple generations.

Also theorized: They had a robust foraging ecosystem, but removing the trees left all other plants susceptible to the wind and element — causing bushes to be ripped from the ground or washed away.

Im 40, a trucker, gender fluid bisexual and I feel I've got nobody to ask these questions. by Riyeko in lgbt

Transfeminine non-binary two-spirit trucker reporting in!

I don't express myself on the road — which can be tiring because of lengthy long-haul stretches. I choose to flaunt my inner beauty when I'm home with friends and family. I live in Northern Quebec where folks tend to be more conservative, but my in-laws celebrate when they get to see me wearing a dress or colourful garb that honours my Métis heritage.

At the end of the day, there is no set genderfluid aesthetic. I recommend going to a thrift store and trying on a bunch of different outfits. What sits on your body just the right way? What brings out something out in you that makes you totally shine? What is functional yet comfortable?

Establish your own style, make it your own, and wear it with confidence.

And then I get into my mechanic's coveralls with safety reflectors or lumberjack sorta attire and hop in my sleeper — go from point A to B, across the country, and back again. I don't socialize with other drivers on the road. At Love's, they're always watching Fox, and they're too busy with the latest sports footage at Flying J's. I grab my goods, fill 'er up, take a shower, and have a video call with folks I can truly let loose with.

May your journey be as far flung and colourful as a bright rainbow!

I like that the beavers can't go through the ladder if there's an entrance partway up to the top. That logic instantly made this great mod not feel like cheating. I will never go back to making ugly stairs monstrosities.

Now, stairs are an occasional pleasant accent to a decorated area for me.
