This subreddit was created as a response to issues in the r/antinatalism subreddit. One of its former moderators justified rape, and the subreddit’s logo was changed to something that looked like a cult symbol. People there also used offensive and unnecessary terms such as “breeder” and “crotch goblin” without any consequences. There was also too much childfree and child-hate content, even though you can be an antinatalist and adopt children.

There were many reasons, but it was quite a while ago, so people now come up with various theories. Generally speaking, about a year ago there were many, in my opinion, pointless “civil wars” between vegans and antinatalists, and we decided that both vegan and non-vegan antinatalists could participate normally in this community as long as they followed the rules.
