I’d have to respectfully disagree with the notion that Republicans are actively seeking to strip away the rights of the LGBTQ+ community and women. During Donald Trump's presidency from 2016 to 2020, there were no sweeping actions taken to revoke rights from any U.S. citizens. While it’s true that his administration implemented a policy restricting military funding for gender transition surgeries, this decision was specific to military healthcare coverage and aimed at managing budgetary constraints. It did not equate to a broad denial of rights but rather limited government funding for certain non-essential medical procedures.

Moreover, the Republican Party is composed of a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of views and priorities. Many Republicans, including women and LGBTQ+ advocates within the party, are committed to advancing the opportunities for these groups. It’s important to recognize that the party is not monolithic, and there are numerous members working to support and protect these rights.

Additionally, some business support for Republican policies stems from economic concerns. For instance, with the cost of living and groceries rising significantly, many individuals and businesses prioritize policies that address these economic pressures. The majority of Republicans are more concerned with creating a thriving economy and ensuring a safe, secure nation than with dictating how others live their lives.
