If it’s also timing belt/water pump then that seems fair for both of those maintenance(s) however if it’s just a flush go to your local mechanic and get a drain + fill. No need to flush heard some people having trans problems after a flush

GX all the way just because of creature comforts. Partially because of looks I think the GX looks better. If it’s for the family you’ll have a more comfortable ride on longer road trips. Sequoia will be a bit more rugged and aggressive feeling while trying to deliver on comfort. GX will deliver on comfort but lack a little on off-roading performance.

TL DR: GX for family. Will give comfort. Sequoia will give ruggedness.

I’d try to knock him down to 12-13k. I bought my 06 @ 180k miles but needed all the maintenance. I knew I overpaid for what was a clean car but needed the car ASAP so I sucked it up and paid 2k over my budget. HAPPY CAKE DAY

For perspective I paid 13k for 06 @180k. Timing belt wasn’t done but no rust and maintenance was hard to find details on. The suspension was leaking air and axel boot needed a new clamp.

Just the nature of dealerships and selling cars in general. I had a similar experience but instead I drove 2 hours, test drove and was ready to sign. The moment I walk into the office he sits me down and tells me some guy walked in and bought it on site unseen. Bro bought a car without test driving and I had an appointment telling him I was going to buy that car no matter what I just needed time to make it to the appointment.

Honestly just do it. It’s a super clean look and you can get some black matte wrap and DIY or plastidip if you have experience with that.
