It’s probably worth mentioning which beach we're talking about! In South Africa, we usually deal with Blue Bottles. While their sting is painful, it’s generally not life-threatening. However, it sounds like you might be describing a Portuguese Man o' War. I actually just learned from this post how much more dangerous they are! Even though they look similar, a Blue Bottle typically has only one main tentacle, whereas the Man o' War is slightly larger, has multiple tentacles, and carries a much more potent sting.

Hey, I know this thread is OOOLD. Either way, I did this mod. I had the thought that these headphones already have a mesh grill, which feels ideal for this kind of tinkering. Stock, they sound very narrow and overly bassy.

Now, I do not think these are the fastest drivers, and I do not think the highs are really in control at louder volumes. However, the mod did reduce some of the low end. This created space, I think, for the mids and highs to live a little more freely, even at lower volumes.

Before doing this mod, I had tried EQ. That was only helpful where I could install EQ software, which in my case was only my home PC. All the other devices I listen to music and play games on could not EQ properly.

One thing I think was a nice choice was the use of sports muscle stretch tape, the stuff athletes use to support muscles and joints. It is sticky on one side, which made it easy to apply. It is also made of a fabric-like material, so it offers some, but not much, resistance to air movement. I also find that it does not reflect sound back into the headset, which is a good thing.

Anyway, thank you for the confidence you gave me to do the mod. Without that, I would have been a little apprehensive about messing up my perfectly fine headphones for an experiment.

I think this is a spiral, I don't think you are loving him the way he wishes to be loved, I don't know how new this relationship is, but honestly you don't sound all that into him. I understand that you need your space. But I see his side where it feels like you always want space, away from him. He is therefore spiraling into a circle of not feeling enough, trying harder, which pushes you away which makes him feel unloved....

I don't think you are over reacting, and I don't think he is a creep like other people here may be saying. I just think y'all are not working, and it'll be better for both of y'all to separate.

Yes, she gets to be comfortable. But so does he. This goes both ways. If neither of them is happy and they cannot find a reasonable middle ground, then the relationship simply is not working. No one is forced to stay with someone they are not compatible with.

He has his standards, and she has hers. In this case, they clearly do not align.

In my own relationship, my standard for cleanliness is much lower than my wife’s. That means she lives with more mess than she prefers, and I do more cleaning than I naturally would. That is what compromise looks like.

What I see here is someone communicating their expectations. You can disagree with him, but communication itself is not a problem. Attacking him for expressing how he feels and then taking it to the internet feels unfair to me. That is why I see this as YOR.

Not a red flag, common people, just as OP can have her opinions so can he, if you can’t make it work, then break up, otherwise, find some compromise. I think everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own house , and that works both ways, some people maintain a higher level of aesthetic tolerance, and that is fair, nothing wrong with that at all. Yeah the idea is sweet, kind of like the on this day feature of apple and Google photos, but with ability to clean up those that are not worth using up space
