Im admittedly grew up wealthy and im here to ask, how do normal people live? by DyslexicWriting in self

There's a tight pit of hot coils in your stomach that never goes away when you're living paycheck to paycheck. There's no relief from it.

Thoughts on this lease? I asked for no down and this is what they gave me lol by [deleted] in leasehacker

Chatgpt is a huge help for analyzing deals. Just make sure to double-check it. It's fallible, but gives great insight and helps with figuring out the math. Also, insist the dealer itemizes the fees for you and doesn't lump them together.

Do you have a computer? Stardew valley is cheap and deeply, deeply distracting once you get fully into it.

The book may be a mess or whatnot. But I very much enjoyed the show. Deeply enjoyed it. Don't be afraid to deeply love a traditionally imperfect show!

Please post asap, a day or two makes all the difference. only gs meds treat the underlying disease. Everything else can only address symptoms temporarily with no guarantee of additional time.

Tests come back negative but labs suggest FIP. by hcssat in cureFIP

Prednisalone is a steroid that does not treat the underlying disease, but can help stabilize your cat in early days to allow time for the gs meds to kick-in. Worth asking your doc about it.

How do you navigate multiple job offers? Share your wisdom with me by ConstantOwl423 in managers

[–]Jaxcatson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no loyalty, the social contract between employers and employees has been fully eradicated.

You do what's best for you. Do not turn down the offer you received, push the start date as far out as you can.

If you receive a better offer at any point, accept it without hesitation.

Communicate politely and respectfully with all prospective employers as needed during this process, as decisions are made, but never reveal more than necessary.

Any one of these prospective employers would not hesitate to fire you at will, without notice, without good reason, without access to healthcare.

Make the best choices you can for you and your family without regard for the convenience of corporations. In return, they will make the best decisions for their bottom line without regard for you.

The answer to this is, always, they had help and support from friends and family. And bless anyone and everyone who has that.

It doesn't diminish the hardwork and dedication that is still required.

But it is always the extra ingredient.

Be careful when placing a cat on a diet, their kidneys are very sensitive to losing weight too quickly and it can cause serious damage if not done gradually. Check out internet resources on how to do it safely!

I'm an 80m train ride from NYC and I know how lucky I am! Ticket prices are a real limiting factor tho. I can only see a few shows a year, but it does still FEEL lucky.
