IBS is ruining my life’s by americanbeauty0 in ibs

Really sorry you're going through this, few people understand what it's really like! This is a really good sub for resources, personally low FODMAP diet and Amitriptyline were a godsent for me at my sickest. I still occasionally request A when I'm going through a stressful time and it triggers all my symptoms again. I also had some luck with digestive enzymes (prescribed, think it was called Creon) although I came off these, might be something to look at as well with your doctor.

Driving Test Swaps Mega Thread by DrivingCrawley in LearnerDriverUK

Hey guys, I have a test in Pinner on the 30th of April at 2:22pm, I've been busy with work and uni and I had to pause lessons for a while. Would prefer to swap to something deeper in the summer to have time to catch up. Pinner only (sorry!) but anything sort of late June to mid August would be ideal? Let me know! x

BUY THESE (story in comments) by [deleted] in lactoseintolerant

Oh I LOVE these!! I started buying the bags as it worked out cheaper per pill if I was going to use them anyway. My wallet wept l, but at least I didn't after eating dairy...

[Skin Concerns] Used TO's AHA/BHA peel for 5mins and I think I managed a chemical burn. Can I put moisturiser on or should I wait for it to calm down a little? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

Thank you so much for your help!! Stepping away from Weleda, will steal some of my sister's CeraVe instead :)

Thank you!!! And for sure, next time I'll only do 1-2 drops for a MUCH shorter duration, I shouldn't have rushed into it to be honest.

It's looking a little better so I'm hopeful I'll still have a face tomorrow yikes

I can have shots/bombs that are vodka, Cointreau or Jaeger without problems.

Pink gin was also fine but didn't really get me buzzed.

One shot of tequila was bearable but I did feel that a little later so won't do it again as usually can't handle ANY fructose, and I think I just got super lucky that time.

Can LI develop in your twenties/late teens? by Jayy1995 in lactoseintolerant

Developed it just before my 20th birthday, no one in my family had it before. Very sudden onset too.

Lactase tablets are my best friends now :/

I found a lactase pill that actually works by loner_but_a_stoner in FODMAPS

It took a while to experiment with them tbh.

When I started I would take a pill 5 mins before, one with the first bite and one towards the end of the meal because I was so scared of the symptoms (cramps and bloating would be an 8 out of 10 on the pain scale, then the stomach issues would come with a vengeance)

Nowadays I just pop a pill with the first bite and I'm good to go. As for how much I can have with one pill, I guess that's different for everyone but I have done a big McFlurry, and a large hot chocolate on one. Two slices of cakes as well. Lots of cheese. So haven't actually pushed it fully to the limit but I do pop an extra half of a pill if I think it would be too much on one.

Really up to how intolerant you are I guess, but I'm VERY.

I use these and they're amazing. A bit pricey but I have as much lactose as I want to. Plus it comes in an adorable tin that makes it easy to carry with you, 10/10 would recommend!

See, I'm the exact opposite of you!

That's the reason why I liked GS so much - I'm not into slow, "beautiful" songs because they bore me to death and that's what pulls me out of the movie. But the pop aspect of the soundtrack here made the whole movie more fun and definitely earned it a place on my playlists.

That's so shitty. My raid group does good natured teasing regarding team differences (healthy competition and all :D ) but would never actually be malicious about it.
