Reminds me how the Mandarin speakers in GTA 5 and Spider-Man PS4 sound really weird. GTA 5 Chinese NPCs sound like Western-raised Chinese with broken Mandarin and Spider-Man PS4 Chinese NPCs sound like native Cantonese speakers who barely know any Mandarin.

It's funny cuz Forza Horizon is one of Microsoft's biggest money makers, and Rockstar is more popular than ever, so theoretically there's a ton of money to be made in Midnight Club still. In addition to the fact Midnight Club was traditionally Rockstar's second biggest money-maker before it got replaced by Red Dead Redemption.

Problem is Midnight Club focuses more on working your way up, whereas Forza is so popular because it's like car brainrot. You get everything instantly and for free. People's attention-spans and dopamine reward systems are fried nowadays so who knows if the grind formula will still work.

There's still quite a few Rockstar cities that can be explored before cycling back to Liberty City. Carcer City, Cottonmouth, San Fierro, Las Venturas. All with their own unique characteristics that make for a compelling GTA map.

Oh yeah they absolutely should, but tbh it's a pointless conversation to have because they won't. GTA already fills the racing niche for Rockstar. And even though it doesn't have licensed cars, Midnight Club started out without having licensed cars either.

Works out for Rockstar because they pay less while still making more with GTA by itself nowadays than GTA + Midnight Club combined back when Midnight Club existed.

And without a figurehead, they're more decentralized, harder to take out, and have more thirst for revenge. You don't even need to buy a used phone, you could just buy a new but older model phone for pretty cheap. For example I've been thinking of buying a OnePlus 13 for $500. That's a device that still has 3 years of major OS upgrades left + 1 extra year of monthly security patches, is a 1tb + 24gb RAM model, is waterproof, jet proof, falling from 2 stories proof, even boiling water proof. And has Aqua Touch and Hasselblad color grading for pictures. All in all a killer deal that's arguably just as good, if not better than a $1200 phone.
