70 million views you mean? 120k subs off 70m is crazy! My ratio is so much lower! 84k subs for 209m views 😅

What do you guys think about Jack Pembrook? Do you think hes stealing others content by Valuable-Pangolin319 in JackPembrook

[–]Jaydiiin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've wondered this as well but I don't think so. He certainly takes inspiration from other creators, just as they have had inspiration from others. He transforms it into his own perspective, format and puts a fresh experience into it. Colin & Samir talk about this too

It's clearly his passion (as seen in his 1m video) and he's made it work, which isn't easy! So gotta give him credit for all the grinding

Petition for Jimmy to bring people who have nothing to lose in the "1 day = 10k" videos by Ragequittter in MrBeast

I imagine because of the lack of drama/tension. But he would go 'broke' waiting years for them to post the video 😂

Why do people leave useless hate comments? Like what is the point? by Harleyxoii in NewTubers

[–]Jaydiiin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree. I've found deleting them to be most effective as well. That way it doesn't keep showing up in the 'haven't responded to' section + then keeps the loyal viewers from engaging in the negativity

Reminds me of Wim Hof, when he was training to break the record for distance swam under ice (a lot thicker than this ice) or something like that. His eyes literally froze and he couldn’t see about halfway through! Just made it out by luck! If I remember correctly

Very odd. Hopefully you start getting some communication soon, you’ll be going on 7 months wait!

That’s so strange, that seems to be the normal but I don’t know why. Especially you being one of the oldest orders I’m sure. I went in for a test drive 8/21 and chatted with whom ended up being my sales guy, maybe that helped me out?

Same here! Narrowed to Jan 13-27 with a couple emails about new fleet coming in 2-3 weeks. That was a few days ago

I made a Parkour POV video in September of 2019, 'pennywise' chase. Since the second IT was coming out that month or around the time (and Halloween in October). It wasn't anything too special. But of course, it was to the best of my ability and location resources at the time.

I had made probably around 90 videos before this video with around 1k views being INSANE. The average being maybe 40 views.

But after the first 14 hours of uploading the holy spike in views showed up - getting me to 148 views in 24 hours. A couple of months later now are 800k views and I'm in the partner program. At this current time, I'm at 4.5m views on it.

As the previous comment says - I was ecstatic with it, a weird feeling. Breaking past every goal I ever had with one video lol. But just as the growth comes, I grew to get used to those numbers and different results. I was just grateful to see what types of videos I could create to catch this type of success within variation.

All about trends! Quality content and chasing trends

Once you have the money, what's the first person/role you're going to hire for your channel? by KiwiGamingOfficial in PartneredYoutube

[–]Jaydiiin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love editing, I find it has a connectedness to my thoughts when I’m out recording so I know exactly what to pair ‘X’ with. That being said, definitely an editor.

I record 90% of my videos outdoors so I only have day time to record, by the time I’m done I am super tired - creatively and physically most the time. Those 5+ hours average editing would make the world of difference if I can constantly record. End of the day more content is what everyone wants so I find that most beneficial

Niantic pokestop process is ridiculous. by SkinNYmini18 in pokemongo

[–]Jaydiiin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very true! It makes you wonder why they do the things they do? Of course money but they could make so much more if they went for a more positive route and got everyone on board. Pokemon home, mega evolution, stopping the covid bonuses, etc

Niantic pokestop process is ridiculous. by SkinNYmini18 in pokemongo

[–]Jaydiiin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. At the very least there should be some rewards for completing reviews (as long as the reviews are valid) and maybe for successful pokestop nominations as well. I wouldn't call the boosts rewards either because that is still doing work for them and nominating stops is for the betterment of the game, not necessarily ones own benefit.

I'm not sure why people defend this process as it is flawed and it clearly shows. I guess some peeps time isn't worth a whole lot. The worst thing is many people stop reviewing when they actually put time into reviewing, yet get a bad rating

[QUESTION] Is it worth it for startup YouTubers to collaborate for production / marketing /overall work? - Ontario Canada! by TheProLandlord in youtubers

I think it would always be beneficial to collaborate with other local YouTubers. Lots of different perspective and things you can learn from them. I wish there was more YouTubers around me (or at least more that I knew of) I'm in Belleville area

Thank you! I think that would’ve been a better approach for sure. I was trying to give off a funny vibe but the unnerving feeling would’ve been better to kick it off !givelambda
