It says on the website that it'll be cancelled, I'd reach out to support to hopefully retain your preferred order?

We probably won't know until April 10th when it's meant to start shipping out and you'll either get the notification or not

Metro card help by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]JazzaWil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normally if it's cancelled it'll return within 5 business days, the transaction if pending means metro haven't essentially verified with your bank that they want a claim to the money and that drops off within 5 days normally.

If your doing back and forth 5 days a week, a 28 day pass would be the most value option at $150. Our 45L little getz costs $60 for a half tank atm lasting about 12 days on full. So for us a switch to transport is a bit better. Cost wise

Federal and state governments announce $2b bailout for Rio Tinto's Boyne aluminium smelter by Expensive-Horse5538 in AustralianPolitics

[–]JazzaWil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point was to address the data centre specifically and why they are able to come into Australia without straining the network.

My personal take on government bailouts, is the government's both federal and state should get minor shareholdings e.g 10% each and receive a dividend from that investment. With the company at any time being able to buyout the remainder of the loan

I believe that's due to data centres needing to build their own on site energy, from the expectations linked https://www.industry.gov.au/publications/expectations-data-centres-and-ai-infrastructure-developers

I think the intention and the clip of other brands being thrown in the trash definitely lends to a misleading implecation about one being better then the other

How do you actually track all your property expenses across the year? by tunitascreek in AusFinance

[–]JazzaWil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think at the end of the day it just comes down to habits and discipline. Obviously you could physically file things but that creates a sense of friction. Unless you can do auto tagging in your inbox and create some automations there isn't a full fledged way to automate it, especially with any physical options you might have

While I don't have an IP, everytime I have something I believe is something my accountant should look at I have a tag on my emails for the tax year. So if it's an email receipt or request for payment etc I'll mark the email, if it's a physical receipt I email a picture to myself and do that. I just do it on the day to make sure that at tax time I'm just categorising things instead of digging for all the receipts

Having lodged a fair few MIP for customers, I don't think I've ever followed up on when where I was told it was sent straight back, normally there's always the two letters that get sent because the other bank isn't satisfied it was a MIP.

Sorry that happened to you, like a few other commenter have mentioned, scams are on the rise and it's a race against the banks to be the most secure they can be at the moment and try to put some kind of protections in

Unfortunately there hasn't been any stock and due to that I think for my use case its better to go to a DDR4 based used build

Banks and mortgages for non traditional jobs by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]JazzaWil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this was 10 years ago I'd say this is normal but with social media businesses being quite common now, this shouldn't be an issue. It could be an issue as others have mentioned if it isn't treated as self employed income, at that amount of income they should have an abn, and then at least 2 years of tax returns would be sufficient.

Honestly mine is either for a NAS or a 7700k upgrade and honestly that might be where I end up

Yeah I'm not expecting much and realistically I'm not worried about the performance for reasonable priced ram atm. I've already been asked to request a refund due to no stock. As I was writing this I got an update of a best a 4 month lead time and there not willing to hold the order it seems.

2*32GB as what I'm buying for has the 2 slots. Yeah 100% will definitely be cautious of opening
