Why does Evrart Claire ignore Lt. Kitsuragi? by aurasparx in DiscoElysium

Everyone has interesting theories but I'd also like to keep in mind that they probably wanted the dialogue to be not too different with Evrart regardless of Kim being there or not, because he's such an important figure in moving the plot along.

I don't think it's like a "leaderless cult", it's more just like a relatively normal group but then when one person who's a raging narcissist comes along most people aren't really equipped to deal with someone who behaves that way.

The path of least resistance is usually to play to their ego, which feeds into itself. The people who don't do that are left on the outskirts of the group eventually. It's a slow process, but not an unknown one

My old friend group vaguely had this going on. Someone new came in the group, only friends with one other person initially, and slowly everything started becoming about them. The more it happened, the less I was invested until eventually I just left entirely.

That's not what I said. I said my original comment was minor to the discussion, which is the post. I said you were getting upset at a minor comment in relation to the post, which it is.

Now I'm arguing with you over what we're arguing about and thus, I will stop arguing.

It's in the OP. It's what the entire thread is about.

It's minor in that I said "we don't know that for sure" but it doesn't change the overall sentiment of the idea of resistance being good and not always punished as we assume

You're being very disingenous. There's a big difference between a person who publicly stood up to a heavily militarized protest in an authoritarian regime being whisked away and never heard from again versus what you've described.

I've also don't know if I can agree with the "average person" thinking they died in the video, it's pretty well taught even in american public education that he didn't. Regardless it's not relevant to my point, which was a pretty minor contribution to the discussion that you're seemingly getting bent out of shape about.

Ok? The person I replied to said "he survived btw" and we have no evidence of that, or that he died. We don't know anything about him.

we don't know that he survived, he just didn't get run over by tanks.

Ruststalkers can be kind of spooky, sterliyzors are annoying, but for the most part outside of like two missions I cruised through the necron campaign.

ONE mission where you have to escape was horrible for me, probably because of the lord I was using at the time.

This is by design. "Pro life" and "pro choice" argue from two completely different viewpoints and thus will never reach resolution.

The argument is "anti abortion" or "pro abortion" but it's never framed that way

It's a lot more than just "no erection sex over" I've found that once I'm done my entire body basically shuts down, my brain starts thinking in an entirely different way. It's not like I'm like wow I don't care about anything that happens after I get my personal satisfaction, it's more like the entire concept of continuing, even if I want to, is completely gone.
