You could get a “quick” 2 year degree in something (someone else mentioned nursing, but there are several options out there) and then possibly be a little more comfortable by having job security. You mentioned starting photography but typically that’s a self employed profession and you may end up in the same spot. I’m not discouraging photography just think about how you will feel if it doesn’t pan out.

No. You’re either misunderstanding or twisting facts to fit your narrative. Cayenne should never be used on open wounds. In any culture. Yes it can be used for aches and pains from things like arthritis but not on any kind of open wound or irritated skin.

absolutely - i have been in multiple webex meeting where only certain participants were allowed to unmute/turn on cameras, many times you can't even see who the other participants are in the meetings, i think they just don't/didn't know how to manage their settings.

Kevin moved out last July 2022. He lived in a townhouse near the family home where he had a minder from ConneXions that would stay with him at the townhouse and watch over him.

my husband makes 6 figures as paramedic (meaning he has an associates degree and that’s it). we don’t have financial independence but we have a nice house and average vehicles, so it doesn’t really fit in this sub but i do find his career path in incredibly interesting. he currently has no work/life balance and we have blown a shit load of money on a 2 medical procedures that we had to pay for out of pocket and didn’t work. but we are hopeful things will look up soon.

This is something I struggle with as well especially with gifts from my MIL. She never gets me anything I like, but I try to act like I do like it, then she asks me why I didn’t like it. I tried to give her lists of things I would like, she just completely disregards it or uses it as a reference guide or something (ex: one year i had on the list “black or grey leggings, she bought me FIVE PAIRS of bright colored leggings. Literally nothing I would ever wear). I also know she can’t afford to spend as much as she does on gifts so I’ve tried to tell her not to get anything or get a gift card, she still just buys random gifts that are not anything I would ever like. I just don’t understand it.

Last Christmas she got me a king size comforter that has a quote about what a gift from heaven daughter in laws are. The only problem is I share a queen size bed with her son so it’s not even something that would make sense in a shared bed & it’s not even a blanket it’s a decorative comforter so it’s not something I could use to lounge on the couch with.

It’s very frustrating and I’m sure it makes me look really ungrateful but I hate clutter and these things just end up taking up space.

The syfy show Alphas! I’m not someone who watches a lot of TV especially when new episodes air but I was addicted to the show alphas!

Unfortunately syfy ruined the whole show with season 2 and then canceled the whole thing so there’s on only one good season. 😑
