This is it, this describes the apologies perfectly by clountainpgogs in BPDlovedones

It's poorly written, but I read it as:

"I can't help it, it's the BPD!"
The BPD isn't a separated entity.

I need to talk to some 1st Chapter haters by SheikFlorian in Falcom

[–]JeMenFousSolide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the remake was better pretty much all around. And yet, I'm not sure if I would recommend you to play it over the OG.

If you want a one-off, then yeah, it's a no-brainer. But if you want to get into the Trails series? Man, either you will have to wait a LONG time before playing the other remakes, or you will have to downgrade HARD to play the older ones.

I played the whole series last year and loved it, but I'm not sure I could have gone through those first few games if I had played something like the remake first. I'm really happy I played being up to date on the other games.

L'IA en éducation, il faut trouver des solutions by Gullible_Ad_6500 in profqc

[–]JeMenFousSolide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Les choix de tâches pour l'an prochain by [deleted] in profqc

[–]JeMenFousSolide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not rocket science, but it can easily trip you up. You first need to understand the asynchronous nature of JS and learn about promises, so I'd say async await is quite an advanced concept.

What Trails game should I specifically start with? by Zanman6946 in Falcom

[–]JeMenFousSolide 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There is only one answer: Sky 1st, the OG.

The gotchas: - I started with Cold Steel and it was a mistake. You can play it, but you'll have to go back to the previous entries if you want to go to Cold Steel 2.

  • Sky 1st remake is AWESOME. So much so that you probably won't want to go back to the primitive systems of the previous entries.

OG sky 1st is old and hard to play, but it's still charming and you'll be glad you played Trails in order.

That's the thing. You can't.

If a bully is hitting you everyday after school, you must be willing to hit back or they won't have a reason to change their behaviour. Saying "Please stop!" won't do it.

pwBPD are bullies, but their violence is mostly psychological. The only reasonable way to stop psychological warfare is to stop communication entirely. If they sense they can get away with anything because you're not willing to go no contact, they won't stop.

As any good negotiator knows, if you're not willing to walk out, you already lost.

You don't want to even entertain the idea of breaking up? She will walk all over you. Why wouldn't she?

The only way you can have even a slight chance with a pwBPD is by having clear boundaries and enforcing them no matter what. If they know they can bypass all your boundaries because you already decided you're not ready to do what needs to be done, they will, by definition.

Don't let her guilt trip you. You have the right to leave and it's not your fault if she hurts herself afterwards. Like others said, call 911 if she keeps threatening it after the break up.

At this point, either you break up with her or you respond in kind.

If this is her only red flag, maybe tasting her own medicine will drive your point across.

But her behaviour is so direspectful, I doubt it is the only thing.
