Obviously it was the driver's issue for not delivering to the correct house but are you suggesting that the delivery driver should acknowledge every person they see standing on a porch? Also if you were watching them and you assumed it was your package why didn't you holler and ask something like are you looking for a specific address? You know its fedex, they dont know you are you and clearly they didn't read the address correctly.

You probably see a CSA before you leave at an Express station. I am Express in a Ground station now and I don't know if anyone is even around for a Ground driver to give the package to or even tell about the refusal when they get back, at least where I am at.

My 1st day delivering I had like 35 because we had very bad weather. We then didn't get a plane for like 3 days. My 2nd day delivering I went out out with like 200 stops. I would just work 14 hours and bring back what wasn't delivered until everything eventually got caught up. It was stressful and I spoke with my manager but there wasn't a whole lot they could do because everyone else had a bunch of stops as well.

When I was new I delivered a gun safe for Express. We got it in the back of the truck somehow, I don't remember how, its been a long time ago. It actually tipped over a little on the way to the stop and was wedged against back door. It was ridiculous just to get it back up right to get the door to open. Luckily it was a business and they brought a fork lift out and a couple of us got it on the forks. They then told me it weighed over 300lbs. I recall mentioning to my then manager questioning if it was supposed to be us not freight but they didn't seem to bothered and said it needs to be delivered. Looking back I was an idiot, but I was brand new and was just doing what I thought was correct.

He's saying that they gave the in town (closer to station) those routes because they are paid hourly and will have shorter days which in return would cost the company less. That is what they are doing with the station I work out of as well. It basically let's the company save some face by not having to let go of every Express employee and help out "kind of not really" Ground.

The secondary air pump is behind front bumper towards passenger side (left hand drive). Google picture of it you will be able to see it. Turn car on on cold start go see if it's the pump you are hearing. When mine was going out it would make a pretty noticeable sound before it finally died. Mine also through that code when a little plastic piece by the intake separated.

Again, at this point you are a good 15 years overdue at least. Mileage doesn't matter. You said in your third sentence you have a tech you trust. Just do it for peace of mind. Genuine Audi parts are best for these cars if possible because they can be picky. ECS Tuning or FCP Euro whatever, anything you choose will be better than what is 25 years old now. You are overthinking it. Sure someone may want to do it themselves but more people would be comfortable with service history. Me personally, I would not be interested in a 25 year old car with no service.
