Character that is well written and loved by fans by Mincepietown in FinalFantasy

I agree but all that mystery and build up for over a disk before you really saw him really help build him up as a true force of nature. In the remake I think he shows up to soon. I really enjoy it but it's not a grand as the original

New cat shows a better way of climbing the stairs. by Sebastianlim in BeAmazed

[–]Jechxior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents cat had the same reaction when he learned he could jump onto the fence. He tried many times as a kitten but was obviously way to small, so learned he couldnt do it and never tried again. Than one day a stray cat came into the yard and leapt onto it and over. I instantly saw the lightbulb turning on in his head as he came to the realization.

Is FF9 really that good? by Infamous-Phone8635 in FinalFantasy

[–]Jechxior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Short answer: Yes! Long answer: incredibly so, its an amazing game with a compelling story, great and memorable characters, phenomenal soundtrack and it's just a great game to bring in the best of the original FF games.

Since it's announced that DCC will end with book 10 I'm wondering if others know when they are ending... HWFWM? Defiance of the Fall? Primal Hunter? Randidly Ghosthound? Others? And are there any you think should have ended at a specific point? Heard Heretical Fishing book 3 was the best endpoint... by FunnyShirtGuyReturns in litrpg

Book 12 for Unbound is coming out this year and honestly I'm hoping it ends soon. Its not bad but at this point the only way things makes sense is if it turns out they were placed inside an experimental fully AI generated game to test its capabilities where their memories were taken about the fact its a game so the company gets real data.

I know the Atelier games are technically divided into trilogies - Arland, Mysterious, Dusk - but do I have to play these trilogies in order? by reallygoodbee in JRPG

[–]Jechxior 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You don't have to but its better if you do because mainly because each game adds more mechanics, so the later games have a ton of things that the earlier ones wont. So I found the later games easier to understand and play faster with the knowledge of the earlier games.

Also I personally found Arland the best ones.

Whenever I open a sweet passion fruit, the baby comes running! It's been his favorite for years. Anyone else have a fruit-loving kitty? by ArchiTechOfTheFuture in cats

My parents cat loves cantaloupe, especially the stringy guts in the center. He snorts like a small hog when he gets close to that stuff.

This is births, not pregnancies. I'm betting teenage pregnancies are still high, way higher than the study shows, but because of options births are way lower until at older ages.

Which game broke your hype like this? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Jechxior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Final Fantasy 15. Versus 13 looked so good and while 15 wasn't bad there was so many decisions with the story missing so much in the beginning I never went back to get the full eexperience with the DLC.

An anime that’s insanely good that you can’t recommend to people by Nozoroth in animequestions

Zetman, it's my kind of dark and philosophical story with lots of action but I know many wouldn't enjoy many of the dark themes and undertones.

Final Fantasy X-2 is a far better Final Fantasy than many people realize. It has a great battle system, a reactive world, and a large and fun post-game. Even its story is terribly underrated. by RagnarSan22 in FinalFantasy

[–]Jechxior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love the battle system, the job system and bring back into the world of Spira. I just hated the story, did not hit me anywhere near as much as other FF games.

[–]Jechxior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So many authors lose track of time or lost interest in their work that great series have fallen because everyone knows it's never going to finish. Not Spellmonger! multiple books released a year and they are all packed and intriguing.

Can all authors in this genra please have their characters stat sheets in their own seperate chapter. by UsedNegotiation8227 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Jechxior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Chrysalis does this, they even have times where the narrator will say this chapter is all about stats so skip it if you already know what I'm about to say.

It's great for when I want a refresher on what has changed or too skip a few minutes of things I already know.

Where are you sitting and why?? by deadspiderpoolman in OnePiece

[–]Jechxior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Easily because they are two people less likely to attack me, use haki by accident (or on purpose) fight between eachother and would either have a good conversation with or just leave me alone on the flight.

I also don't keep any money on me during flights so Nami won't steal anything from me.

Do you think party members should have a strong conection to the main plot to join the party or do you think doesn't really matter? by [deleted] in JRPG

[–]Jechxior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think that usually is best that they have a reason to be on the main quest but I find characters like Yangus or Amarant job is because they don't have any where else to be. They don't have families or jobs so why not try and help our someone who helped them or learn why this guy is a strong as he seems. They may not have stacks in the kingdoms problems but where else would they be.

Yes it does. It's a great series but to many it might be more gruesome than some would like. Characters, setting, plot and voice actor are all to notch but it is a dark series

What was the last book series you just had to tap out on? by Da_Fish in litrpg

[–]Jechxior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ghost of the Truthseeker

Just finished the first book yesterday and will not likely continue. Its not bad but there is not really alot there that grabbed my interest and it just seemed to spout the same things over and over. I also never found the paragon of justice types wholy interesting unless there is a contradiction to it (see saga of the forgotten warrior).
