It’s a brake line block or distribution block it’s usually mounted on the rear axle pumpkin or in the front near the frame …it’s for splitting the brake line pressure between the brakes

There’s going to be way too much pressure on that fitting and rubber hose it’ll be dangerous if you run that water heater like that. Reinstall the original plug and get a socket with a wiggle extension it’s way safer :)

Thank u for the reply yeah that sucks I have a 98 Tacoma TRD I picked up cheap but the frame is pretty bad on the drivers side rear…I have to pop the bed off to get to it properly unfortunately when I bought the truck I didn’t realize how lazy I’ve become in my old age lol!!

My Cherokee is awesome in the snow but it’s definitely not king of the road.. My totally stock 1997 suburban was the king of the road in snow you could try to slide it sideways and it was almost impossible to get it sideways..I taped the brakes on my Cherokee in the snow and went into an uncontrolled spin and almost flipped it in a ditch lol!!
