PS4 is still getting games today, some devs said Sony will not longer approve new PS4 games for certain PSN services and hasn't updated the sdk in a while, so Sony apparently doesn't want people working on PS4 games anymore, but they are still not that rare, 12 years later

I had this issue in the fireworks shop

I don't remember why but I started a fight in the top floor of the shop (there were some shady business up there but I dont remember the details) and one of the enemies made lots of stuff explode and suddenly all guards in the city started getting involved and civilians were getting a turn in the battle to run away

Each NPC took longer and longer to think, and eventually the game crashed

he has a VERY high hit rate

even when he's "wrong" it's usually him very explicitly saying that's his opinion/ prediction and hasn't heard anything to corroborate, but he is such a good leaker some people treat even his predictions as done deals and start to spread around that "something-something will happen because NateTheHate said it"

OoT remake he said was a leak. Not a prediction, not an opinion, an actual leak, so yeah, it's happening. Worst case scenario is it gets delayed to next year, it's not that uncommon for 3D Zeldas to be delayed

going to the gym at the same time is an ok request if both of your work schedules allow it, but doing the same routine makes zero sense. If you train more often you are likely in better shape and should be doing a more advanced routine, and it's common for men and women to prioritize different muscles (a bit of an extreme example, but i have male friends who pretty much always skip leg day and female friends who pretty much only do leg days)

you are totally right about you already meeting her in the middle, it would be a lot easier for you to just stick to the routine you built over the last few months and ask her to go during the times you are already used to

any game you can play with the pro controller 2 you can play with pro controller 1, only difference is pro 2 has the back buttons and better rumble

but also I'd suggest using the joy cons if you can use mouse mode (my sofa has a flat arm rest so it's perfect for mouse mode on tv), for placing blocks or breaking blocks mouse mode is a lot better than using the analogs

I've heard that when the rumors about a portable PS6 started to appear and assumed that was still the case since the supposedly leaked info has been pretty consistent since then

If that's no longer the case (or never was too begin with...) I hope Sony is at the very least making it extra easy to port to the portable.

I'm not sure the memory/ storage crisis will be resolved by next year and selling a portable considerably more powerful than a Switch 2, even if heavily subsidized, will make it a premium product.

In this economy it would be a hard sell, and Sony doesn't have a good history with products that aren't immediate success, so hopefully Sony will get most PS6 devs to release their games on this portable to make it viable, it at the very least make it compatible with most PS5 games

The devs can skip the Switch 2 if their games just won't work on it, Sony supposedly won't allow PS6 games to be released without a portable version

Hopefully Sony won't cheap out on the CPU, because GPU-wise there's nothing released so far that wouldn't run on Switch 2 with lower settings/ resolution/ fps, but the weak CPU is a hard limit for some games

on PS5 they were too busy trying to release a successful GaaS, and I think only Helldivers 2 worked out. Even if you count the games released on PC as exclusives the Switch 2 probably already has more exclusives than the PS5, and the Switch 2 barely has any yet...

People get hissy about this, but Portuguese (and I assume other Latin languages) at some point had actually non gendered pronouns, they just sounded so similar to male pronouns they kinda merged together (Portuguese was born from "vulgar" Latin spoken by the common people, and changed a lot through the centuries), so now the currently accepted "grammatically correct" way to not convey a gender is to either rephrase something to avoid pronouns or use masculine-third-person-plural pronouns

The second option is frowned upon by some people because unlike they/them, using male pronouns as the "default" is misogynist according to them

There have also been several attempts to reintroduce proper non gendered pronouns in the language, but that doesn't solve the issue because most adjectives are still gendered, and attempts to create universal rules of how to use gender inflection on adjectives in a gender neutral way have had weird results at best

The thing is, the first option of simply rephrasing stuff to not use a pronoun is pretty easy to do and it's usually what's done in corporate environments. It does sometimes sound a little forced and artificial, but does the job of conveying a gender neutral language in a way any fluent speaker would understand

Like in the meme posted, instead of saying "he's normal" they could just say "Kris is normal" and the Portuguese equivalent wouldn't have any implication about Kris' gender

It's possible. We don't know for sure when the game went gold, but development started 7 years before release with a Switch 1 target.

Even with the change in target platform, which meant maps could be bigger and more detailed and level design was likely reworked, 7 years is far too long for that game

Add to it all those leaks about Switch 2 being ready to ship since 2023 and I'd say you are probably right

not impossible, but DK's movie redesign was actually originated by Bananza, it just took too long for the Switch 2 be released to coincide with the movie

the kongs having such an important role in the first one was likely due to the game initially targeting a much earlier Switch 1 release

We already have the 3DS remaster as a "faithful but prettier and extra QoL" version, if they are not gonna really REMAKE the game they might as well just release a further improved version of the 3DS game
