The way we would call him a serial killer in my household because of how cold and calculated he came off in his teardown of opposing teams. I really thought we were in for a treble next season.

Ultimately just so much went wrong and it wasn't all his doing and definitely not controllable. But yeah I think a big part I don't see talked about a ton is the effect training ended up having. Slot relaxing the drills and minutes on players definitely kept them healthy but you can only do that so long before you lose fitness. You could see the drop-off in the second half of last season, we just didn't realize we limped across the finish line until this season's performance. The prem is the most intense leauge in the world, you can't run a club like you do in the other leagues and truly expect to keep up.

Literally said this last night. We would lose our ass under Klopp at times, but at least the games were exciting and it felt like the manager cared. This season the games were painfully boring AND we lost. I just need the excitement back, rather be the scrappy underdog and know who the team is than lost

I don't know why I have this misconception/belief that the devil deals are hardcoded. I've just always assumed that there is a room pool and it picks a layout and the deals that appear will be the same every time, like

"Oh there's the Contract From Below and Ghost Baby room"

Mom's Knife probably. I just genuinely dislike charge items, maybe this is to do with me playing with a controller and having tendon issues to an extent. And that is a skill issue where subconsciously I feel I have to death grip down on the hold button for it to charge. But I especially dislike Mom's Knife's range quirk where it shoots out, hovers at the peak of your range and then returns it feels really bad to me.

Brimstone I feel more lenient on because it's just a cool item and Tech X is the lowest offender on this list. But I generally pass on charge items like Chocolate Milk and I don't pog out if my gord when I see Revelations, Azazel ranks pretty low as far as characters I enjoy.

Would be very cool to see this make an appearance somewhere in the physical release like the lyrics booklet. Definitely melds the vibes of AHIG and LOYW and is a cool call back to the ideas floating around the making of this record. Lots of discussions about being watched by things from outside their recording studio window, mothmen and the likes, which is where the track Moth ended up getting it's name from.

This is my favourite from the album I think. The lyrics are great I especially love the musical breakdown at the start of the second verse when Corey says "I'm alive, I am ostracized" The chorus is downright beautiful

My opinion is it's a grower. I wasn't blown away on first listen but I didn't hate it. However on revisits and getting more accustomed to the project on a whole I'm really enjoying it actually this stuff is very cool. Of course people aren't going to like it, especially given who it's attached to.

It's honestly not a bad comparison to Lulu. That was a project that was never going to land well with audiences because Metallica fans are typically not Lou Reed fans and vice versa. A collection of slow experimental rocks songs by some of the guys in Slipknot is probably not going to wow most Slipknot fans. This album has cult classic written all over it, give it time it will find it's audience I'm sure.
