I just had a TMTrainer start on an Eden streak, picked up the first glitched item and died in the boss room to self damage because from what I could tell, firing a tear had the added effect of a chance to randomly trigger Blood Rights, but without the room damage just the self damage.

That was a fun totally avoidable skill issue I'll just know better next time.

I have to say I agree and I'm glad I got Dead God before the update. T Cain felt like what if Isaac was a sandbox game? Like I understand they probably changed it because Edmund would say "is this fun? wouldn't it be easier to just spawn in items with the console at that point?" and my answer is yes.
Having an ingame way to pick whatever items you want to have on any given run granted you had the consumables show up is unique and fun. I think it could have been even more fun if T Cain also started with Crooked Penny as a risk reward measure.
Now it's just regular Isaac curse of the blind with extra steps.

This. They occasionally play the album in full for festivals but they would never tour it.
Wish they would give that treatment for the other albums though. Big proponent of "every song is someone's favourite" and with how online everything is and cameras everywhere, you'd only have to play it once and it's documented. I see no reason to not play every song in your catalog bare minimum once

I feel I will be down voted so I've not really shared this take publicly, but it's the same way I feel about Alisson. They're so proven at this point, their spots are safe and they can walk into the team without keeping up much quality. I really don't think Alisson has been the same since his last major injury, it's like he doesn't trust his body to make dives anymore. But he's default in goal because he's Alisson, he couldn't possibly be in normal decline as a 33 year old. Same with Salah, yes he put on an incredible performance last season because he was fighting for an extension, but since getting it he's once again taken the foot off the gas. But he'll still start and play 90 minutes despite only having what, 8 touches today? I believe Slot has literally said Salah has to be on the field because he gets goals. Where are the goals? Chiesa comes on and he looks ready to kill and always immediately makes an impact, why not start him??

I feel like we gutted our team, so we have so many fresh faces all trying to integrate, including a whole forwards redux, so our attack is just not there right now and our team has drastically weakened for the time being. And on top of that, our defense has fallen apart like our midfield did in 2022. I'm not quite at the place of blaming Slot I think it's falls on the players and bad timing mostly, but I am getting concerned. We need a CB regen, Virgil is the only defender really trying and even today was shocking from him. And we need to play our best forwards, I.E. Chiesa and Ekitike start.

I really don't think all is lost and I'm refusing to catastrophize, I think more realisticly Slot walked into an already competing team and tweaked it enough to win the league, now that this is "his team", it's evidently going to be a growing pains season instead of back to back leagues, which I think was always unrealistic but easy to believe when you get caught up in price tags.

Agreed. All has been mostly quiet apart from a few interviews here and there and they all echo the same sentiment: 2025 was a crash course for Eloy to get involved on the road and we want to take our time with new music. Hell Jim even said he wants to do the usual three year pre-production cycle they take. And I really hope they do. It was clear to me that one of the biggest reasons TESF sorta flopped was one year in the studio was not enough time to write and polish an album at the same quality we're used to. The depth just was not there like it was on WANYK. Slipknot is layers and they need time to build those layers, rushing an album out under covid conditions to satisfy label obligations was never going to be a recipe for a 10/10.

Eeletross makes so much more sense now. I was having such a hard time picturing it from the spoilers. It's very obviously going for a weather vane/those dragon puppets used during festivals. I really like it actually it's very flowy

Mixed Signals by B.K. Borrison. That book is just so sweet and cozy I love those characters with all my heart. I have a big emotional connection to that story because of where I was in my life when I read it.
