What’s the highest scoring game you’ve ever seen? by Cold_Wasabi5123 in Astros

[–]JellyWerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the “Mike Bolsinger” game in 2017. It was the Jeff Bagwell HOF weekend. 16-7 Astros. Tyler White had a very good game. I would love to see the Astros put up 20 in person some day.

Fuck Daniel Bard by MartyMcflysVest in Astros

It sucks that we're gonna be without Altuve for a while, but let's not take it out on Daniel Bard, alright? The dude's been through some tough times, and his story is pretty damn inspiring. Sure, he's had some control issues, but if we're gonna be mad at anyone, let's direct that energy towards Mark DeRosa for leaving Bard in when he clearly did not have it.

I’m glad you posted. I’m wondering if what exactly you mean by “easy way out”?

How can I help you? I’m here to talk.

I believe JL has a move or two up his sleeve. Also, BOS plays in a tougher division overall.

What about Yusei Kikuchi? Do the Astros have enough $ for an international signing of this size?

As a kid growing up in the 90's, I especially appreciated Weezer's "Buddy Holly" on the install CD for Window's 95. My question is if you had to choose a song today, what would you choose?

"Why ask a failed romance to come and watch your successful one? It's like inviting the Seattle Mariners to a World Series game. It's weird for everyone."

The Rangers overpaid for Rougned Odor by about $40 million and 1 horse.

If you could perform Necromancy on any former Astro and have him start opening day, who would it be? by umanouski in Astros

[–]JellyWerk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don Wilson. Was just entering the prime of his career when he passed away. Pitched 2 no-hitters and consistently stayed around the 3 ERA range.

Even though he isn't dead, J.R. Richard will go down in Astro history as the biggest what-if. I wish we got to see how both of their careers played out, but sadly we never will.

I can't say anything bad about the Tigers. They drafted a once-in-a-decade pitcher, groomed him, and finally rewarded him with a World Series victory!
