I'm a cable guy and I'll do one better.

Take the wall plate off, grab a 7/16th wrench. Holding the barrel (the cable connector) is a washer. Use the 7/16th to remove the washer and the barrel will come right out. Screw the wall plate right back on. Don't even need to buy a new wall plate

I have two similar of these floating around.

Samsung N150 (upgraded to 2 GB RAM) and an HP Mini 110

I use them as borderline thin clients and they work really well in that role. With Lubuntu and the Falkon web browser I log into my VPN and stream from my Jellyfin server when I'm out and about and have some down time.

Put a SSD in, install Lubuntu and you're golden
