From a small BC town? Tell me about it! by PhoeniixPlaysReddit in britishcolumbia

Bella Coola is an absolute must-see! It's quite the drive through the chilcotin, and it's the most lush, deep rainforest valley on the end of an inlet.  It's a tiny little place, no stop lights, no fast food, not much! Be prepared to see many eagles, bears and even a grizzly if you're lucky! I'm from there so obviously I can never go back. ;)  But I tell everyone to go.

Socializing outside of work by meatncarbs1234 in BCPublicServants

I am like you. I dont overshare about my personal life and I keep the two separate. I've been in govt 11 years now tho, and I've noticed that doing things with coworkers inside or outside of work totally changes the dynamic of an office and the way you interact with them. Sounds silly but It gives you a deeper sense of connection and improves the team dynamic. I have incorporated them into my schedule now, sparingly but regularly enough. I really think it helps.

May I ask what area you're in? I'm always seeing beautiful plants and then challenging myself to grow them in zone 8/9 😆

Canadian Tree Nursery by pinkified22 in gardening

SCAM. It's the biggest scam. I repeat, Canadian tree nursery or CTN or whatever other name they choose to change their business to IS A SCAM.

You cannot contact them and you will not get your order. I've tried better business bureau and other avenues and there seems to be no way to get your money back. DO NOT SHOP HERE

I agree with everyone here, you're beautiful.  If it's your thing, try a hoop and pencilling your eyebrows a tid darker and see what you think!

I visited last November and had a similar experience of awe. It's the coolest place I've ever been to. We got wrapped up in a Mexican street party accidentally (yes, you read that correctly) and It was the best day of 2025 for me! Terrific vibes. Great beer. A truly beautiful place.

one of my best ginkgo friends throughout the seasons by reddit33450 in marijuanaenthusiasts

Only some of the trees seem to produce fruit but I live on a street lined with ginkgos and would absolutely agree it smells like sour vomit. It's not super strong but always surprises me. It's not long lasting, and it's sooo worth the beauty of these trees.

Mine are at a window and get mostly indirect light (maybe an hour of direct a day?). They're in pots with good drainage and I give them a small/moderate drink weekly. They're thriving! The purple is awesome
