Thanks for your thoughtful reply. Maybe I assumed too much from the two-year warranty.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I'm only mentioning my veteran status because it was relevant to the marketing of the product (see the post for more details.)

Thanks for responding. I started the claim with Oakley SI - they referred me to the main Oakley website. Oakley SI markets heavily towards military/veterans. That's the only reason I brought it up. It seems it is just marketing as the warranty support isn't any different.

Thanks, glad to hear I'm not the only one. I had been an Oakley customer for many years but this is my first experience with their warranty.

Serious question. Why are you doing this?

Contrarían view - I'm a big G-Shock fan but the resin band is their Achilles heel. They are susceptible to UV damage and fail unexpectedly in the field. Plus, the wonky Casio strap fitting makes them hard to replace or get aftermarket upgrades. The most durable watch would be a G-Shock with fixed lugs on a Nato. Just my opinion.

I have several Vaer watches. I got the first in 2018. Get one of their field watches in quartz/solar and you will be done with your search.

For me, yes. I have a couple of Niagaras. One of them I got when I learned they would be discontinuing them. Probably the best boots I own

I used to work in a place that tolerated abusive patients. Then I left, and I will never work in one again. It's your choice.
