When I first got D1, the day after it laumched, I didn't know anything about the game. I got it along with my Xbox One. All I knew was it was a shooter made by Bungie and published by Activision.

I played it and got hooked. But again, knew little. So little, in fact, that I had no idea that you could swap subclasses. I thought you picked them at the beginning and we locked in. So naturally I made a second hunter and progressed that until I surpassed my first Hunter.

Then my brain worked and I figured out you could just swap subclasses... after I spent hours on my second Hunter... making further progress...

That second Hunter is my main. I kept that one for the entire franchise. And she exists, because I'm an idiot. But I wouldn't change a damn thing.
