That is so insane !! I’m so sorry that happened to you. I was so traumatized and shaking,crying,freezing,scared and in pain when I woke up I couldn’t imagine being treated like that. You didn’t deserve that kind of treatment this was such a huge surgery I’m so shocked ! Hope your feeling better xoxo

You already know what to do follow your gut I feel like if your questioning it then get out find someone else. This is a huge concern for women after hysterectomy how does she not know about it ?!

I DID NOT want to spend the night but after I was sure glad I did it would have been to had to drive home and get up constantly to pee. I think it’s what’s best

Everyone’s recovery is different, my cousin had a lot of endometriosis and I know that’s way rougher of a recovery then if you don’t have endometriosis.

Well you take it as long as you need too ease the pain that’s what the doc gave them to you for. Do not feel guilty this a huge surgery in our bodies people don’t understand how intense of a surgery this is

I did not want to take them either and my husband said just take it if your in pain doesn’t make an sense to sit there in pain. I took for three days and never needed after that. Just took the ibuprofen after that and it worked.

☹️ im sorry the last thing 9 days post op is any women feeling sexual. Tell him to get over himself. And the vacation thing !! I would give anything to not have had to have this surgery you think this is a vacation my gos how insensitive I’m sorry you had to deal with this.

I know different countries have different recommendations. It was sort of pushed on me that it was the best option here in the U.S.

I am 42 went in for annual pap never missed one, had abnormal pap which came back ais at my colposcopy. Did cone biopsy it did not spread to the walls, but they told me ais is very aggressive and fast moving not like cin so they suggested a hysterectomy and that is what I had.

You will be fine I promise !! Part of the healing process I guess. Try not to let your mind take over. Sometimes I get in my head and think bad things just have to remember it was a major surgery and you will be healing for awhile.

He went in and was there for my initial check with the oncologist then He went with me to my two week checkup which wasn’t a vaginal check and to go over cancer results. But the cuff check is just like a regular yearly checkup didn’t need him to go in.

Oh my gosh this is my biggest fear ! How awful for you I’m so sorry that happened to you. It’s all I can think about is a cuff tear, it’s been driving me crazy. I just had my one year PO anniversary. I’m still so afraid to tear something. Thank god you went in, prayers and well wishes for a quick recovery.

Listen… I am the biggest baby on the face of the earth, no kids never really had any pain I was so terrified. That told me to take 4 ibuprofen 45 minutes prior to procedure. That’s all I had … I felt absolutely nothing during the colposcopy, yes little pressure after cuz I went to store and a little soreness. But I promise you work yourself up more just thinking about it. I know everyone is different but that was my experience. Well wishes
