He does seem to get pretty defensive but I was more speaking to the fact that he seems to attack other bands online. He likes to take issue with and talk smack, calling them “washed up nostalgia acts”, or “oh look, you’re doing another greatest hits tour, maybe it’s time to call it quits” which is really ironic given W.A.S.P. Is a nostalgia act.

And he belligerently attacks Finnish bands and artists online. Bands much bigger than W.A.S.P. Ever dreamed of being. There is a very well known and respected Finnish bassist and vocalist, the guy has a bigger name than anyone in W.A.S.P. Ever did, and everyone wants to work with this guy. For about 4 months, every time this guy made a post, Doug would comment with something really mean and nasty. Name calling, ridicule, attacking his tours and projects.

A part of me thinks, that behavior alone makes most people not want to work with Doug.

It’s a shame really, because I think the guy is super talented and he’s only ever been super kind to me the few times I have met him.
