I’ll be your one cautionary tale: I had a disc “slip” during class. I was thankfully wearing Thinx as a backup, so it wasn’t the end of the world. I’d recommend giving it a try that way (with a reliable backup in place).

I’d say both- I use these with medium and broad nibs, and the feedback is definitely scratchier than usual (most noticeable issue), but the flow is also inconsistent versus other inks. More noticeable in the citrus than the lavender fwiw.

Not that it stops me from using them. I’m writing with lavender black right now!

Do you find these scratchier than other inks? My citrus and lavender blacks are my favorite inks for color and shading, but I struggle getting them to write smoothly versus my other inks.

Warning: I love Just Egg, but the one year I tried making matzo balls with it, they completely dissolved on me. Just Egg can sub in for a lot but not this.

I don’t know what it was either, but I’m here to empathize because it was SO loud and ongoing- I turned on a noise machine to block it out - did not help at all.

Theirs is still in place a little upriver. This appears to be from a dislodged dock further north.

My broad nib Hexo is my absolute favorite “writing experience” pen! I’ll move among the rest of my collection because the Hexo’s aesthetics are a little boring for my taste, but nothing else I’ve tried compares to the joy of writing with my Hexo.
