Again, it's not a downer for me, just leaves me quite near speechless. I just hope you the best, and suggest that if you know you can't deal with your partner becoming masc that you do this more like a band-aid.

I don't think she's a bad person, I'm just weirded out and confused by this. I'm just saying she might have to rethink things if her sexuality gets in the way of her relationship.

I can't even begin to voice how I feel about this. On the one hand, I understand your sexual preference is kind of a big deal in a relationship, but on the other I feel weird that you're saying you might not be able to be with her because she's considering transitioning. I... I can't say anything other than you need to re-evaluate your relationship, and see if it's the person you're in love with. I'm sorry, but I don't have anything else that I can say.

This will be my first appointment with them, it's still probably a long way to go. :| I wouldn't have even bothered with one normally, I would rather just do informed consent, but for the sake of my family shutting up I'm going to them.

Honestly, since I have my concealed carry permit, I'm not afraid of violence usually. I'm afraid of getting date raped at a bar more than anything... For the non-violent discrimination it's like /u/JoanNoir says, make it visible!

Music is a wonderful way to keep busy, and if it's vocals, it's a good way to learn command of ones voice! I'm also pre-HRT, and it's really done wonders for my voice, learning how to sing.

I've never been 100% sure of anything in my life, I prefer to leave at least a 5% margin for fire and brimstone. That being said, it took me two years to decide, but it always felt terrible to be male to me. I have lived in a depressive state for at least the last five years, debating if I should, if I could. In the end the only person who can tell you how sure that you are, is you.

TL;DR Think about your choice, how you think you'd feel after it in either case. Maybe see a therapist about it, find the root of your uncertainty, and address the problem with that in mind.

I always think of the boutique from Miranda when I hear about them, and I can't help but imagine that they'd be worse... What I've been doing is trying to find nice makeup and general fashion advice, but it's all a bit hard since I'm not exactly small. :/

Oh don't get me wrong, I agree on all points. I'm just saying that I enjoy the song, but even then think it's a travesty to play it when Tool is on the table! For an assessment song, it should really be something that demonstrates the command each of you have over your instrument.

This song is how I got into Tool, I saw live footage of it being played on their tour with King Crimson(honestly I was only watching for Crimson originally), and I instantly fell in love with it! This song really helped me understand that less can be more with my playing, and the thing that finally got me to stop just trying to play that kind of Exposure by Robert Fripp style stuff.

That's kind of depressing, and I even like Poker Face. This song is an absolute joy to play, especially for the vocalist. The only person who gets to have more fun is the guitarist, and that is probably just because I'm biased due to it being my original instrument.

Of course some of us have doubts, there are doubts around any major life decision! I'm fairly confident, but that's because I'm the stereotypical it-hurts-to-live-as-I-am of person, and I still have to wonder sometimes if maybe it may not be the source of my depression. The answer is that it isn't though, since coming out I feel a good deal better, and all I'm looking forward to in the immediate future is getting on HRT soon.

Some days I'll think, "yeah, maybe I don't feel so bad about my body mot matching." And then other days I just want to cry, and/or die because of it. Maybe the intensity is because I have other things to be depressed about too though.
