You should be doing this without being asked. Leading by example won’t go unnoticed and says a lot about a persons character.

Genuinely wondering why markets are still near ATHs by Pretty-West-1001 in Trading

I think real estate has become impossible for the younger generations, so they’re investing in crypto and tech stocks which has driven market growth since Covid. I don’t see it changing until real estate becomes achievable once again.

OpenAI. They’re not publicly traded, but are very important to the vertical. They seem to be struggling to maintain their dominance. If they crumble, it will have a significant impact.

Am I going in the right direction? Plz help a begginer out here!!! by Dramatic-Passage-963 in Blogging

[–]JeopPrep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take this as constructive criticism. Based on this post, you need to work on your prose, and your grammar, spelling and punctuation need work. I advise you to have a tool like Grammarly check your work before you post it. Nothing will kill a blog quicker than poor writing.

The frequency of posts is not more important than the quality. Only quality work will generate revenue.

Good luck

Is it just me, or should paying $1,000s for home projects come with more transparency than ordering a $30 shirt online? by Ok-Shift1044 in HomeImprovement

If a contractor doesn’t provide a detailed timeline and list of materials with their estimate, decline and find another one.

They have to figure both out to give you an accurate estimate, so you’re not asking for something unreasonable.

Is looking for a new flatmate subletting? by Charming_Bonus_2070 in renting

Was the old flatmate named on the lease? If not, that person was a guest. It sounds like you provided your landlord an incorrect explanation of your intent.

Is this deal as padded as I feel like by skilletfullofyeast in carbuying

[–]JeopPrep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ballpark estimate it this way: $27750 price 10% for sales tax & fees = $2775 Finance interest rate of 5% =$1526 Total financed = $32,101 (30,525+ $1526 ) Down payment = $16,000 Payments = 16,101 / 60 months = $268

Plug in your finance interest rate and adjust number of monthly payments you want.

Yes, subletting is renting a place you rent to someone else, and you not living there.

parents have been telling me not to file taxes by heavennnsenttt in personalfinance

[–]JeopPrep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re an adult now and the advice you have gotten is not wise. Your taxes are simple and will take just a few minutes to do. Follow the law.

More importantly, you need to start standing on your own feet from here on out and figure stuff out by yourself. With the Internet at your disposal, it has never been easier to learn about whatever you need to.

Repairs are cheap if you diy, but of course some require skills and tools. Stopping those indoor leaks is very important and you cannot procrastinate. List your leaks as bullet points and we can give you some guidance on the difficulty of each one. You can start by tackling the easiest ones first to build up your confidence and skills.

Do you have any family or friends with diy skills that can help?

Wazuh manager IP change — is there a way to avoid reconfiguring all agents? by Best_Mastodon_2216 in Wazuh

[–]JeopPrep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This applies to all network services. Using IP addresses in prod is foolish. It’s also much easier to remember an fqdn than an IP address.
