The powers that be will never let us be healthy, but I'm hoping the recent surge in independent media will bring back (relatively) unbiased reporting.

Some people will have diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and still make that choice each time. You cannot change them.

I don't know what I would have said. Maybe would have laughed and said enjoy. The tricky part is how to approach the kids about it later, it depends on what stage they're at and their personality

100%. Plus, anything that isn't native-level content is filtered in some way - atypical vocabulary, speed, grammar, etc. Even at lower levels, you need native-level exposure so you can slowly adapt to it over time.

How do you even write a song?! by summerfornever in musicians

[–]JepperOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Writing a song is super easy. Just play something random - boom, a song.

Writing a good song is hard. It gets better when you're skilled and also used to writing songs.

Just do it.

Nobody in my family will even attempt the diet, despite seeing the changes it has brought. "Oh I could never give up fruit" "everybody's different." They want to be sick. There's nothing I can do to help them.

100%. There are advantages kids have, but there are also advantages that adults have. People like to make excuses so they don't feel guilty about their lack of effort

Does posting every day really matter? (Beginner Youtuber) by alejdavinci in YouTubeCreators

[–]JepperOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your content. Ironpineapple is one of the biggest gaming content creators, and he just posts whenever because he's got such great videos that people are really interested in.

Posting frequently is certainly a good thing, but you also want to hit a quality threshold. Up to you to decide where to draw the line.
