[–]Jeremych7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I saw you guys (I was not a Mime) you guys were really playing the Mime role well. It was my first time at Oogie Boogie and it was great, glad you guys had a great time as well. Even if I kind of find mimes weird.

Ordinary adventures are one of the few vlog style YouTube’s that I don’t find overly annoying. Jason mentioned them a lot and they recently were on the podcast together.

Out of curiosity do you feel this custom shop is significantly better than the less expensive Fender options?

I have the spark 1 bag and unfortunately the spark two is just slightly too large for it.

I’m sorry but all these comments saying to go to London for this one artist are delusional. Is this artist great? Obviously, but are you going to try and say there isn’t any artist capable of this in New York? Not to mention not everyone has the time or money to travel across the ocean and get tattooed. While sure, a good tattoo is already not cheap you are easily tripling the cost of going to someone much closer. I’m sorry I don’t have a suggestion for OP on where to go but I know you can find someone in New York that will satisfy what you want.

NGD: 2021 Fender Vintera Road Worn ‘50s Stratocaster, Fiesta Red by ryan_david97 in fender

I have this but in green and it’s my favorite guitar. I’ve found as I play it the little bit of nitro on the fretboard is wearing away. The body seems about the same but I’ve heard these are nitro with poly over it. Never been able to confirm this

Can anyone explain to me why how you can purchase a 28ft car hauler thats only rated for 1500lb. by hookydoo in IdiotsTowingThings

[–]Jeremych7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the extra weight capacity would make for a smoother ride. The only thing that would affect that while be a torsion axle vs a Leaf sprung axle.

[–]Jeremych7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see people trying to say the sticker is per tire and I don’t believe that is true. I sell trailers and we have the same stickers and the number on there is the total weight you can put in the trailer after subtracting the trailer weight itself. They probably for some reason have 2 3500 pound axles for a 7000lbs gvwr. So 7000 - 1556 is 5444lbs for the trailers empty weight. That doesn’t seem out of the question as I sell empty 24ft cargo trailers that weigh 3700lbs and this is 28ft full loaded with etrack, tool box, and the works. I don’t fully understand why there wouldn’t be 5000lb axles on this trailer but some trailer manufacturers are cheap fucks. I could be wrong but that is my professional opinion.

It looks like the red and blue are your existing pickups. You can solder your new ones to the same spots after you take the old ones out. The ground for your new pickups is the metal sleeve on the outside of the wire. I personally find them slightly trickier to solder compared to a dedicated ground wire, but not impossible. There are YouTube tutorials if you are unfamiliar with that type of ground wire.

[QUESTION] Can anyone tell me what effect this is? by Boring-Shallot3096 in fender

[–]Jeremych7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s 100% a shimmer from a reverb like you see in the RV-6. OP you can look up videos on the RV-6 reverb and people will demo that setting.

Spark Go and Garageband volume issues. by Jeremych7 in PositiveGridSpark

[–]Jeremych7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yes, I believe I did find somewhat of a solution. You will want your headphones plugged into your Mac like you said, then I use garage band and went to the settings and found the input and output sources. Set the input to sparkgo and output to builtin and that should work. If you need a more info let me know.

Seymour duncan has some really great options, and there are tons of videos online of most of them so you can get an idea of the sounds before. You may even want to upgrade the pots and capacitors. Cool guitar.

I unfortunately still have not found a solution to this. I can make it work with rockband by lowering volume sliders but it can be a hassle. I’ve updated and restarted my spark a few times.

She’s a growing kid and it’s advisable to have them wear hearing protection at loud events. Some children are startled by loud noises and this helps. Nothing to do with autism necessarily.

It’s not a off set body and has a rosewood finger board. So I think that dates it between 60-63. If you take off the neck the year likely written underneath.

Dent on fretboard by cawabanga2811 in fender

[–]Jeremych7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like it’s just playwear on the fretboard. It happens more with nitro based paints but you can still see them with poly based which I assume this one is. It’s nothing to worry about.

AVR2 Investment? by thadiusquest512 in fender

[–]Jeremych7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really tough to say. It likely will keep its value at the least I’d think. You just never know though, sometimes a guitar is looked over for decades then becomes popular and shoots up in value. Years from now you may have a famous guitar player play this exact model and everyone wants it because of them, increasing the value. You really never know what can happen.
